Conquest Festival 2023 Day 2 Voice Actors Panel: Adam McArthur (Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen), Vanille Velasquez (Neon in Valorant), & Sean Chiplock (Diluc in Genshin Impact)
This was the first voice actor panel for Day 2. Adam, Vanille, and Sean talked about their life as voice actors and telling everyone that when you're in the voice acting industry, you should always stay humble and be grateful with the roles that you get---no matter how big or small.
Sean: "This industry is about understanding how much it means to you and what you are willing to put in in order to maybe get out of it."
"You need to be CRAP: Consistent, Reliable, Accountable, and Professional"
Vanille: "Small voice, big acting. As a beginner voice actor, what you should be focusing on is your acting before you go into making all these different voices. Yes, of course, they will be beneficial to you. But the most important thing is your acting."
Adam: Authenticity, for whatever project you are working on, whatever your audition is, authenticity. As real as possible, within the genre."
