THANK YOU FOR SHOWING A 2ND METHOD SO ALOT MORE PEOPLE CAN DO THIS!!!!😊😊😊😊 I LEARN ALOT JUST BY WATCHING YOU!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤🙇🙇🙇🙇😍😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍
I am so glad that you had issues with the bobbin threads and how you handle it I enjoyed the whole video but especially how you were calm and work through the issues and I now know that I am not the only one that has issues. But like you said “There are more than one way to skin that cat” My cat sleep that statement so we are cool😂
Thank you SO much! I have been trying to find out how to get the alignment marks and you described exactly where to find them! Can't wait to put my two pieces together on larger projects!
Thank you for showing how to split, I have been trying to figure this out because I want to split a design and place it on my T-shirt on both sides….im buying Enthusiast!
Becky, I haven't finished the RW&B yet. Had to stop to catch up with your other videos. But am coming back to it. So, I was watching this one (#13 Flag Blocks Split Hooping) and not only did I learn about the split, Enthusiast modual and how to work around a digitizing snafu and especially, how to work with a machine issue (caused by incorrect bobbin placement - which I seem to run into on occasion -- which thanks to you, I now know to STOP, remove needle and replace and insert bobbin case correctly!). Wow! I learned a lot. a huge THANK YOU!! Today is July 11 of 2022. Yep, its almost been a year!! I need to get this one done! You are amazing!!
Well look at you go! That's awesome! Getting those little nuggets of knowledge under your belt are confidence builders for every embroidery project. The sky is the limit! I'm proud of you!
I guess we can say you have a lot of patience with mistakes. I'm so glad you did the video and showed it. It was a fabulous learning experience. Thank you.
Well you definitely have more patience than me and I didn’t hear any cuss words. Lol. This was me with my sewing machine last Friday night. It had been sounding funny during the day and finally thought I bet it needs a cleaning. Took off the needle plate, took out the bobbin case and did a thorough cleaning. Then it took me forever to get the bobbin case back in correctly. And of course every time I screwed the needle plate back in before trying it. How wonderful that the needle plate on your Luminiare just slides on...no screws involved! See you next time.
I don't habe an embroidery machine hey but I still like watching your tutorials. In think it's great you didn't edit out the problems so we could see how you fixed them Thank you for taking your time to teach. Hope yippy habe a great weekend coming up.
Becky it is always helpful when you encounter issues as you teach us, we learn so much more, Thank you! I, also, encountered the challenge of shrinkage on the blocks that were not embroidered as they were precut to finished size, but did not allow for shrinkage in pre-quilting the blocks before assembly. I did as you did and trimmed the blocks to the stabilizer. This made for some very skinny seam allowances. I would have addressed this by over sizing the blocks, but as I had a kit with limited fabric and did not address it earlier in the fabric prep stage it was to late. Will be better prepared for the next project. My block sections have been assembled, think I will wait on your lessons for the borders as I am anticipating a few challenges to come.
Great information, Becky. Thank you so much! Back in 1995 when I got my first embroidery machine (Viking 1st Designer) all large designs were split in half or into 3 parts! This would have been so much easier!
Thank you so much Becky. You are really great. I love your videos. I have the Brother Dreamweaver See/Embroidery machine. I have not done much embroidery since I got it. I need to start again. I do notice that heavy embroidery designs do not do well due to the heavy amount of threads. I love my Brother machine though. I have a portable Machine too. I just bought a Brother Scan N Cut 2 older model CM350. I don’t need all the fancier functions of the née ones plus I got a good price for mine. I do really enjoy watching you, you give so much info and show every step of the way on the computer too. I worry now that you have your new mobile home, you will not be doing as many videos. I miss when you are not on. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and time with us. You are a big help.
I purchased Essentials and Thumbnailer through your link yesterday. Now I need to learn it. I guess I’ll spend the weekend going down the rabbit hole. Taking M&M’s with me,lol.
I've been working thru this and a few other of your videos for 2 days...found a few of my errors by going back to the video and thought I had it figured out..well, mostly, but i've got an overlap a bit in the center yet my split designs when printed out "match"....maybe I just need a break and start again...i'm working on the outer borders...yet, even with being a tad frustrated, I've learned so much! thanks
I love your teaching videos, Becky, and always learn something new with your various projects. I have a Janome 550E embroidery machine that also does split hooping with its companion MBX Digitizer. Just thought I would mention that if someone else has the same machine and is not using Embrilliance Enthusiast.
That's so helpful to remind folks that may digitizing programs can do this. I have DrawWings and I know it will do it too but I can't figure it out! lol Enthusiast is so much easier.
What a cool trick, using the knot feature, sorry it didn’t work. But I have had that happen where the bobbin thread is not caught in the basting stitch. Usually if I retread the bobbin it will catch.
I just have to say that those long basting stitches malfunction for me every time with my Quattro 6750 and my pr1000. Something about the initial tack down stitches I think, but they sure tack down the end stitches and make it really hard to remove. Good to know it isn't just ME or my machine! Sewing is NOT for the impatient, that is for sure! Will always malfunction, bend a needle, run out of thread etc. when you get in a hurry! Thank you!
Interesting.....I have the Luminaire machine and it never stitches the besting stitch correctly. I had the exact same issue with the Dream Machine. I could never figure out what I am doing wrong. Maybe you can figure it out with all your great connections!!
Absolutely. Embrilliance works with every type of machine. Here's a good video where I explain how it works. I have lots of videos out there showing step-by-step how to use the software. powertoolswiththread.com/embrilliance/
Becky I went to get Embrilliance essentials, but noticed there’s not much of a price difference between essentials and enthusiast. Do you recommend starting with essentials or enthusiast, and do they even do the same things or are they completely separate? I hope I’m making sense! Thanks!
I recommend Essentials first. That will do most of what you need for everyday embroidery. You will rarely use Enthusiast but will use Essentials all the time. Have fun!
THANK YOU FOR SHOWING A 2ND METHOD SO ALOT MORE PEOPLE CAN DO THIS!!!!😊😊😊😊

Oh my gosh Becky, thanks for teaching me how to use the embrillance tools to split a design. Snd to be able to do this in a 5X7! God love ya
Thank you SO much! I have been trying to find out how to get the alignment marks and you described exactly where to find them! Can't wait to put my two pieces together on larger projects!

You are amazing 😘💐
Great tutorial. I’ve learned so much from you. Perseverance is top of my list.
Wow lotta work great job❣️✂️🧵❤️💕💖💗
Love how you put hoop back in using arm. Not pushing on hoop. Great tutorial. Showing how to measure.
Thank you for showing how to split, I have been trying to figure this out because I want to split a design and place it on my T-shirt on both sides….im buying Enthusiast!
Omg how cute

Thank you for keeping in the problem with the machine and the steps to fix it. I am sure this will be helpful for many watching the video.
Great video! You are so amazing with embroidery machines ! Thanks for sharing!,
Great great video!!!
Thank you!
Such a cute quilt block! Thank you!
Motorhome camping. On the way to Coushatta we saw a caravan of motorhomes traveling East on I10... Made me think about ya'll!
We'll be that way later this week! :) Thanks for thinking of me!

Thank you??? Yikes!! Thank you, Jesus, for giving me a larger hoop. Have a wonderful day! Diane
Yes, larger hoops are the Lord's blessing to we embroiderers!
So impressed with your patience. Girlll, I would have started the whole thing over. I love that you just stick with it. Taking notes. ;) ~Kim
Thank you so much!!

Sounds fun! And thanks for using my links. I truly appreciate it!
I found that I can use essentials with a 5x12 hoop
I've been hoping you'd do a tutorial on split hooping. Thank you so much, Becky!
I've been working thru this and a few other of your videos for 2 days...found a few of my errors by going back to the video and thought I had it figured out..well, mostly, but i've got an overlap a bit in the center yet my split designs when printed out "match"....maybe I just need a break and start again...i'm working on the outer borders...yet, even with being a tad frustrated, I've learned so much! thanks

As if storms weren’t enough ! “Party on Wayne” ....good save Becky!
I love your tutorials, they are so real and informative. I've learned sooo much from you.
Well I'm proud of you for sticking through it. lol Loving the journey!

Thank-you so much! I've wondered about getting Embrilliance, since you recommend it! I love listening to you because you explain things so well!

I feel your pain - there are just days!
Do you have Embrilliance Essentials? and the 5x12 hoop??

🥰👏🏼👏🏼
Can I slip a design in two using Stitch Artist 1,2 or 3 instead of Enthusiasts?
You can pull a design into any module of Embrilliance software.
I love you! You are great teacher! But have Dreams Machine ( 1 needle) can get brilliance to work with it?
Embrilliance
Absolutely. Embrilliance works with every type of machine. Here's a good video where I explain how it works. I have lots of videos out there showing step-by-step how to use the software. powertoolswiththread.com/embrilliance/

@@PowerToolsWithThread Thank you so much for the advice!
Will this work for the Designs by JuJu Quilting patterns?
It sure could! I'd make the blocks large enough so they could be trimmed down to size. Smart!
Do you have the pattern for the sewing machine quilt in the background??
Becky, was there a reason you just didn’t rotate the hoop instead of creating a new hoop?
Well, I supposed I could have, but I also wanted to demo how to create new hoops. :) Eagle eye my friend! lol
Ahhh. I was so confused because you are so tech savvy and I feel like you like to work smarter not harder, now it makes sense. 😉
