Hey FPF Squad! For those of you who are wondering what happened to the guest in the mad hatter scene the answer is nothing, the guest was escorted and later re-joined the tour with the next group.
I'm still impressed over the fact that Hong Kong Disneyland is willing to do the very thing that no other Disneypark around the world is willing to do. It's a nice way to give us some chilling attractions but also not rely on gore and extreme disturbing imagery like other Halloween haunts. It'd be nice if the other Disney parks eventually give us things like this. Helps that a lot of Disney movies have scary moments in them so they have a lot to use for haunted maze ideas.
Exactly!! Plus the Mickey Halloween party at Disneyland is a joke and not worth the money(I went on the second of October for $115). I went to Halloween horror night ($61)and Knott’s scary farm($39) for the price of that party ticket. Which I have much more fun in the scared mazes which I’m not a fan of horror and wish at least DCA would have mazes in the future since when they do Mission Break-out after dark for the Halloween season the cast member’s Uniforms are covered in blood and have tried to scary customers.
man disney should archive their attractions in vr where people with a vr system can buy a former attraction and explore it via vr, also the walk through haunted mansion is cool i wish the original haunted mansion made it as a walk through
giving the US imagineers a proper budget and telling them to go all out on some halloween mazes would probably produce the best-themed, scariest, and most popular mazes anywhere
8:46 You forgot to mention this bit: The final room is the Underworld, where Hades appears and informs the guests that he had caught Professor Wu. Once Hades persuades the guests that the professor is guilty for what he did, he transformed into a demon and try to hold the guests prisoner in the Underworld forever, but Hades releases them and restrains the professor. A dead woman will randomly jump out at guests as a final scare before they exit the attraction.
Jake Taller but what if one person, one with care and hope in his heart decides to forgive the professor and ignores Hades’ persuasions, believing that the professor deserves a second chance, and that said person will even fight for the professor’s freedom against the grasps of the villainous Hades?
I think it's odd how Hades is technically a hero here. Hear me out. Wu apparently transforms into a demon, and tries to take you captive right? So even if you felt he would have deserved a second chance, he was still gonna do that, so any sympathy would fly out the window don't ya think?
the early concept art is even scarier. The game was supposed to take place in a garbage can behind Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle, so they could do some cool stuff with that.

strangerkiwi11 dustin the last one with the Nightmare Before Christmas would be approved because the last maze isn’t some altered nightmare version of a classic Disney property. It’s just the about same story as the movie. Nobody jumps out to scare you, it’s just the friendly inhabitants of Halloween Town and their greetings and stories.

Every Disney park (even in the U.S) ritually sacrifices 66 guests every year. It was a tradition started by Walt Disney himself, and it was his belief that it would ensure the park's prosperity. They are more discreet about it in U.S parks for legal liability reasons though. Let's just say there is a reason that It's A Small World breaks down so much....

horror maze are just walkthrough haunted houses. we have tons of them in the US. they arent usually called mazes. I dont think universal made this up lmao. have you never been to a haunted walkthough during halloween before?
We definitely need this in the US parks. Some more adult oriented entertainment. The Halloween nights should really be targeted more for adults. Because watch children really stay up at 2 am? I think Disney would rival Universal with this
I would honestly hate that. I like Disney’s Halloween because I like being at parks late and having the Halloween decorations but I hate being scared by actors. It could totally be more adult I just think it’s refreshing to see a park without scare actors
If Terrorific Night still exist, then you would definitely hate the Terrorific Night in Disneyland Paris since in this particular event the whole Walt Disney Studios Park are surrounded by scare actors from each street, to the small pathways to have a shortcut in the next area. Not only by that they have some not so Disney shows like some gruesome scenes from any brutal horror movies are being shown to the guests. Most of the rides are surrounded by actors as well in the queue and most of the park is really dark. This event is not very Disney at all, its not based in any Disney movie or what so ever.
Disney California Adventure could work for a Halloween event as long as there event is on a different day. They could easily put both scare zones, and mazes.
@@TwilightLink77 Why not? They have been playing some chilling horror musical loop in DCA in a while. Also, imagine Pixar Pier turning into abandoned pier and clowns everywhere. Haha!

I love the idea of turning the happy world of Disney on it's head. This would be so cool to have in WDW, like a seperate event from Mickey's Not so Scary as to prevent children and families from seeing the mature stuff.
I would never have imagined Disney Hong Kong being responsible for probably one of the most amazing Halloween celebrations at Disney of all things. Great for them.
This would definitely increase excitement for teenagers and young adults without kids or who arent kids-at-heart. However they would need to post castmembers at every entrance saying that kids under at least 10 or 11 shouldn't be allowed in. 👍
Here’s an update. Where the Main Street haunted house used to stand, is now the home to a Disney Princess Attraction, which is supposed to be a permanent addition to the park.
To being fair, Nightmare Before Christmas isn't supposed to being too too scary, as is even described in movie song, 'scary, but we're not mean, in this town of Halloween.' So really, is not so far cry to making it more family friendly, instead of truly nightmarish. I think this could do very well for Disneyland/Disney World here in U.S.A. Is just right amount of costumes and sets being slightly creepy, but not enough to terrifying younger guests.
Although I know I’m so late for it, but they actually did an awesome work on the “Jungle River Cruise”, the ride was changed into “Emerald Trinity” at night, most attractions are changed into halloween version, all the most inspiring part was that the hippos were changed into skeletons trying to grab the ship.
I’d love to see some legitimate scary mazes at Disneyland, when Disney goes proper dark it’s always pretty effective, so as long as they advertise a maze as not being for kids they could so pull it off.

It would be fantastic for the fans, but also there would be lots of parents saying "this is mean to be for kids" "why they have done this" "i was thinking that it was for kids" and also "I'm traumatized, wait for my demand" and all that would make Disney no think of try to make an other one P.d. Sorry if something is bad written, i'm steal learning, also love the video, i didn't know about all of them
I hope they continue the nightmare experiment for years to come I don't know when I'm gonna visit China again along with the fact that I normally don't like scare mazes but concepts like the Nightmare Experiment make it look like it's worth it so I definatly want to see it one day.
Oh, the nightmare experiment and the nightmare before christmas one are great! Could you please talk about what euro Disney (or Disneyland Paris i guess) does for halloween?
Like what a few said, either they are lead out a different way to make the story still seem well down, the guest is a cast member in on the plan and ends up re-surfing with another group later, after the other guests have left, the guest that was pulled goes back with the group. I assume if it is a actual guest that they would get something (possibly) for being apart of the act. Kind of like how Disney would sometimes give out special collector's pins if you were apart of the Disney parades. I know this because one time they asked me, my sister and my sister's friend if we wanted in, but because I was shy I said no and my sister and her friend joined in and got collector's pins for it.
Hongkonger here. My all-time favourite maze is the Main Street Haunted Hotel co-produced by WDI and Rocky Point Haunted House in Utah. Really amazing attention to details!
You’ve pretty much covered almost everything in “Maze of Madness The Nightmare Experiment Continues” except for the ending with Hades and the Underworld where the Professor was imprisoned
The only thing I’m thinking about in this video Where did the people go when they were chosen to have there ‘head cut off’ were they just cast members dressed like guests???
People always say what they'd do with a time machine like meeting their dead relatives or changing mistakes made in the past. And then there's me. I just want to go back to 2013 and visit grave academy
LeeAna Lojek It’s a Park for entertainment... it’s not real. They most likely escort the guest back out after everyone finishes the walkthrough. Nobody dies. There could be a lot of legal trouble.
Are you Crazy?!?! First of all, It's the wonderful world of Disney! No one want's to have something far too messed up! And Second of all, Alien encountered is bad enough!
This will never happen in the U.S. although they might recreate the Nightmare Before Halloween one because it’s cute and lame, like all things NmBH-related. It’s “spooky” but tame and will help sell plushies. That Pinocchio was a real work of art. They would never do that in America. The problem is that parks like the HK Disney are newer so they have the opportunity to build from the ground up and make their mark. The American parks already have their brand and their reputation. They’re not going to spend millions of dollars to mess with a recipe that already works.
They could easily do this at WDW by having the Magic Kingdom do it’s normal Halloween party and Hollywood studios do a mature event for older audiences. It was originally made to be a film lot so they obviously have the space to do several houses. This could also compete with HHN. Edit: some ideas. They could bring back Alien Encounter for this event, and do a Hollywood Tower Hotel Tour (a haunted house that is supposed to be a tour of the hotel)
Disneyland Paris used to have Terrorific Nights where the Walt Disney Studios Park turns into a whole new dimension with zombies, serial killers, psychos, and more. It stopped running after its second season (I think), although since 2018 for one night only during on Disney Halloween Party, Adventureland will turn into an horror like place where the caves are filled with pirate zombies.
catch me in hong kong for halloween this looks amazing bc no other disney, especially the 2 here in america, would NEVER go this dark. the darkest is simply the nightmare before christmas. and the way they present the mazes, freakin spectacular.
I think we need to thanks to Oceanpark for “helping” HKDL to build these maze because Oceanpark have a lot of horror maze every Halloween. The other thing is since Hong Kong is small so Oceanpark and HKDL will have a competition between each other. This makes HKDL need to do something more fun than the other park
Oddly enough it would be pretty cool. I mean if you look at it this way if Disney opened up an area for a bit more of an adult spook factor it would be impressive.
This would be a fun think for Disney to do in the states and would be a way for older guest to feel entertained by all the scary stuff they could pull off

So cool i love both horror movies and Disney so these are like both worlds in one.
It would be fantastic for the fans, but also there would be lots of parents saying "this is mean to be for kids" "why they have done this" "i was thinking that it was for kids" and also "I'm traumatized, wait for my demand" and all that would make Disney no think of try to make an other one
P.d. Sorry if something is bad written, i'm steal learning, also love the video, i didn't know about all of them
Yeah. Just look at what happened to Exraterroestrial Alien Encounter.
i guess r.i.p Hong Kong Disneyland's haunted mazes
I hope they continue the nightmare experiment for years to come I don't know when I'm gonna visit China again along with the fact that I normally don't like scare mazes but concepts like the Nightmare Experiment make it look like it's worth it so I definatly want to see it one day.
This is amazing!!
omg!
:D
thanks but not as amazing as our next collab! that should happen soon 😉
Oh, the nightmare experiment and the nightmare before christmas one are great! Could you please talk about what euro Disney (or Disneyland Paris i guess) does for halloween?
Wat happens to the guest after the curtains fall
Lucas G My guess is that they use a cast member dressed as a guest.
Or they Die
Like what a few said, either they are lead out a different way to make the story still seem well down, the guest is a cast member in on the plan and ends up re-surfing with another group later, after the other guests have left, the guest that was pulled goes back with the group. I assume if it is a actual guest that they would get something (possibly) for being apart of the act. Kind of like how Disney would sometimes give out special collector's pins if you were apart of the Disney parades. I know this because one time they asked me, my sister and my sister's friend if we wanted in, but because I was shy I said no and my sister and her friend joined in and got collector's pins for it.
Idk
They probably tell them to scream, then after they all leave, they send that person back to the group
Hongkonger here. My all-time favourite maze is the Main Street Haunted Hotel co-produced by WDI and Rocky Point Haunted House in Utah. Really amazing attention to details!
When you said "Holloweentown", it took me a good 30 seconds to realize you weren't talking about the movie Holloweentown.
Yes I like Halloween and I wouldn't mind if Disney would do basically villains on ice that would be fun
Daaaaang that's some Pinocchio, they should do that in Florida so it could compete with Halloween horror nights in Universal
BoneDaggers and California.
YEA,UNIVESAL STINKS!THEY ALLWAYS RELIES ON HORROR MOVIES!
The Mad Hatter thing was something I never thought Disney would do. EVER
Hey, wait a minute! Those haunted houses are based on the true stories of those disney cartoons! I knew it!😮
The one with the Mad Hatter sounds like a fun one to go into. Man would I love to be the randomly selected guest
You’ve pretty much covered almost everything in “Maze of Madness The Nightmare Experiment Continues” except for the ending with Hades and the Underworld where the Professor was imprisoned
The only thing I’m thinking about in this video
Where did the people go when they were chosen to have there ‘head cut off’ were they just cast members dressed like guests???
Yep! They were just a cast member,if you look closely in videos that are in Nightmare experiment,it's the same guest
Kawaii Gurl ok good I was scared a little
YES NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS!
NIGHTMARE PEEPS REJOICE
Lmao I watch That 6 times
THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS AHHHHHH I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO DO THAT MAZE
This was fascinating!! I rarely find something I don’t know about parks, but this was amazing to learn! Great video and thank you for your work!
People always say what they'd do with a time machine like meeting their dead relatives or changing mistakes made in the past. And then there's me. I just want to go back to 2013 and visit grave academy
I Would LUV To See This At Oogie Boogie Bash Or Some Other Disney Halloween Event Here In The US
The Nightmare Experiment looks so SCARY! Journey to Halloween Town was AWESOME!
Um.... What happens to the guest after the curtains fall?
LeeAna Lojek It’s a Park for entertainment... it’s not real. They most likely escort the guest back out after everyone finishes the walkthrough. Nobody dies. There could be a lot of legal trouble.
Pipertiger It isn’t real, it’s a show.
Pipertiger or it’s an actor. Either way nobody gets hurt for real.
I’d love to see a scare zone involving Judge Frollo.
I only liked the halloween town one, the others are to scary for me
This just makes me want a Disney Horror game
5:01 “skell”
I think you mean cell, bro
Also that part with the mad Hatter is amazing
OMG!!! This needs to be a thing in the US!!!
Silly Cyl nope too scary
@@Meleon900Michaelleon Wonder why........
Disneyland wouldn't even allow this in their park
They would refuse to have this in their park
Are you Crazy?!?! First of all, It's the wonderful world of Disney! No one want's to have something far too messed up! And Second of all, Alien encountered is bad enough!
The nightmare before Christmas one was actually appropriate and cool.
Yo! I love ❤️ the last one it’s beautiful 😍
These mazes are as scary as heck! Excellent job!
Or they're too big of a pussy to bring it 'murica land, and bring out their inner snowflake crying that it's too scary for the kiddos .
In 2014 when I was on Disneyland on the Alice in wonderland maze, I just got freaked out by the queen of hearts 😂😂
I would be to scared to do these, I’m a scaredy-cat I know
Edit: except for Halloween town, because I love that move
catch me in hong kong for halloween this looks amazing bc no other disney, especially the 2 here in america, would NEVER go this dark. the darkest is simply the nightmare before christmas. and the way they present the mazes, freakin spectacular.
I would literally sell my soul for the Halloween Town maze
I think we need to thanks to Oceanpark for “helping” HKDL to build these maze because Oceanpark have a lot of horror maze every Halloween.
The other thing is since Hong Kong is small so Oceanpark and HKDL will have a competition between each other. This makes HKDL need to do something more fun than the other park
This is spoopy.
I hate haunted mazes, but I think they could make one about just sids room. I would actually want to see the Halloween town one.
The only thing I like is the jackskelinton one
When Halloween Horror Nights Invades Disney so, there is hope that we see another concept of a Marvel haunted Maze
These all sound *TERRIFYING* and I would never do any of them if I was only a few years younger (probably hardly even now) 😆
Sophie Cleveland yes same!!!!
if i was around for it(my bithday was in 2008)and if we had enough money,we could go to hong kong,i would have liked to chek out graves acatomy.
Oddly enough it would be pretty cool. I mean if you look at it this way if Disney opened up an area for a bit more of an adult spook factor it would be impressive.
I WANT JOURNEY TO HALLOWEEN TOWN!😭😭😭😭😭😭
We definitely need something similar in other Disney Parks. But go all out. Full scares. No holding back.
wow! love ur vids!
This would be a fun think for Disney to do in the states and would be a way for older guest to feel entertained by all the scary stuff they could pull off
