That light looks really interesting, especially for working on plumbing in cabinets. I'm glad they are using USB C i wish they would have used it on their lighted tape measure
we'll see how I like it compared to my Milwaukee Rover. I agree with what another guy said...they need a version that can use a 1.7mah powerstack. Amazon is delivering it today. I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Glad i cam across this video; cause I can always use another light for work👍
Nice review Jimmy! But Dewalt should have made something like this that you can power with your small 1.5 amp hr bats or even the 1.7 amp hr stack. As a Dewalt platform guy thats what im looking for from Dewalt. Not a light that tons of other light companies make. I want something I can use my 20v bats with.
One thing you failed to mention was size, I have plenty of bigger light when I need the area lit up. Red guys light is the size of a cell phone. Also I don’t get this red or yellow mindset, I love the NJ Devils (red) and Pburg Steelers (yellow) A good tool is a good tool and I don’t care who makes it or what color it is. I have tons of both. If I’m that upset I’d just paint that light red and slap a Milwaukee sticker on it, problem solved. But, what the hell do I know, I like the Yankees and the Red Sox. Go figure.
@@alexandujar6150 micro usb one of the most hated ports in the industry. USB-C is the std now has been for a while I have a few of the red brand lights and that charge port is really annoying if something is using a micro usb it tells you straight away they cheapped out on the product.
Ah I was looking for this comment. I wish they would make a small area light like this that you could use your small 1.5 Amp hr batteries or even the 1.7 Amp hr stack bats with. That would be the ticket imo. I suppose maybe people wouldn't like the extra bulk but I'd take it for the swappable batteries that I have a so many of from buying kits over the years.
NITECORE has a light very similar to this, but does spot and flood(NWL20), it's 600 lumens, has a removable battery, and is only $34.99, got the NITECORE because $100 bucks with no removable battery?? I love DeWALT but no thanks
WHAT! The Dewalt light is $100. I'm a Dewalt platform guy but that's rediculios imo for the exact reason you stated. Nitecore a very reputable quality light manufacturer sells the equivalent for $34 and Dewalt is charging $100. Now if Dewalt made something similar but made it powered by 20v bats then I might suckered into paying $79.99 for it just so I have something to use all my 1.5 Amp hour bats with lol. But $100 I Don't Think So! My Dewalt DCL044 does a good job but is a bit more of a spot then an area light. They need to just make something like it but with an area style light head.
The DEWALT USB cables are very high quality. The way they’re sheathed and the plugs are reinforced are the best I’ve seen.
I agree
@@sswwooppee I have 3. I agree
I know some Milwaukee fans who use them daily..z 🤔

It’s all about the carabiner
What happened to the series you guys were going to do with renovating that couples run down house?

Dewalt for the win.
God Bless in Jesus Christ Name Amen.

Finally USB-C the other brand doesn’t seem to understand that one thing 😂
What are they using then?
@@MrJak427 you must have not bought anything from wauk in a couple years because they been using C for a while

My m18 top off has USB c to c
Klein has a light exactly like this but isnt USB-C Unfortunately,🤷🏻♂️👍
Is it usb mini?
Vince, drop it off the roof then I may consider!
I’ll do it tomorrow when Jim isn’t looking! 🤣
Why usb A to C though. All new stuff is usb C now on both ends.
Exactly it’s goofy.
I agree. Would like to see C on both ends.
That’s true but dewalt came out with that light a while back so it was usb a ,at the time

very cool noty a dewalt guy but this is sick
Thanks
I bought one and was not impressed. The charge does not last; it's on the charger much more than in operation.

nice
Price tag is absurd...
O yeah
Cara what?😂😂😂
can we cooperate, we can give you more commission
Need to work on your pitch Jimmy.
Looks nice but $100? 😒
Pahleez, “amazing” is a stretch.
Looks nice, too bad it’s made in China though…😕
So they “borrowed” Klein’s design.
