As a redsox fan there is nothing wrong with this idk why alot of people are sayin Yankee fans suck cause of this they get the same treatment when they come to fenway well not as bad since the rivalry aint like it used to be
I'm a big Sox fan, and I had a good laugh at it, because it proves that Yankees fans and Red Sox fans are cut from the same cloth: Had this been at Fenway and the cameraman been wearing pinstripes, the same thing would have happened. Classless? Maybe, but you can't tell me there isn't an element like this is ALL baseball rivalries.
in italy,if a fan had done such a thing during derby roma-lazio in football match would have die....it's nice to see sportsmanship between two rival fans...we have much to learn...greetings frome rome
as a Red Sox fan I gotta say that I read the book and ventured into the Bleachers this past August... Yankee fans out there may be ruthless but they sure do know how to have a good time!! I may hate the Yanks but being in Section 39 gave me a respect for Yankee fans I never thought possible... keep it up, guys. you have a good thing going out there. don't let the new Stadium ruin it for ya
Why don't you spend 300 million? Maybe then you'll win another championship. Red Sox are just a better organization. You guys were awesome in the 1900's!
Those asshole Yankee fans jumped on the Mets bandwagon.....fucking fair weather fruitcake fans if I ever seen them..... White Sox fans would never cheer on the Cubs if they made it to the Series
+Jim Ruda nah bro, im a die hard Yankees fan and alot of us were wearing alot of Yankees gear to rub it in the Mets fans faces that we were NOT on the band wagon, Mets SUCK! I made a comment with my Yankees hat on to every person wearing Mets gear. Theres alot of outta towner tourists that live here now and infest our city, they are the band wagon humps.....
I bet I'd get the same treatment when I go to Fenway Park wearing my Yankees hat and jersey. Actually, I get that same treatment at the Metrodome when I go see the Yankees play the Twins. As a Yankees fan, all the insults and crap don't bother me. 26 championships say it all. P.S. I'm not a bandwagon fan. I was born in the Bronx and I currently live in Minnesota.
Red Sox fan here, been to both stadiums. Boston stadium is more historical, smoke/bar area inside, decent area surrounding , dope vibes Yankee stadium is in hood ehh train station attached to stadium basically, that was unexpected and cool but that’s nyc for ya
@yankeesownyou1016 well you're referring to the past too with the whole world series thing. and as of right now we're only half a game out of first. Thank you very much.
Somebody shouldve thrown a beer on him. I saw it happen to a Red Sox fan during the 99 ALCS but it doesnt happen enough. Sox fans need to know their role.
Boston fan hands out free chowder to Sox fans outside entrance to Yankee stadium! He wouldn't even sell his chowder to Yanks fans...It was Crazy! This is pure dedication...This guy must make his chowder out of brass balls not clams!!! He now lives in Brooklyn, but he sure knows where his loyalties remain! New England Clam Chowdah and Red, Red Sox! No Manhattan Clam chowder in this guys pots! Coming Soon!
yeah... against a guy who was starting his second game above single A. Getting swept in a three game series in April is better than sucking for a friggin century.
The Giants have built a solid team and are primed to do something big this year. Before Belichick, the Pats were nothing. The Giants had (2) bowls in the eighties and returned in 2000. They rise and fall every 15 years.
pt5 All that matters is that not only did a team that hadn't won in 86 years, but a team that you had on the edge of the cliff once again came back to beat you in three straight, and then barrel through the World Series. And even better, you just lost 3 straight to another team, from a team that, only 3 years ago, lost 119 games out of a 162 game season. Not only that, but you have been thwarted again in the past 5 years by another team with a payroll under $100 million.
the difference between Boston Redsox and New York Yankees It took Boston Redsox 86 years to win another world series from 1918 to 2004 It took New York Yankees 9 years to win another world series 2000 to 2009
I went to a Yankees/Red Socks game in NYC once. The fans were relatively friendly to eachother compared to what you see at Dodgers/Giants games out here. Im a Giants fan. And walking through the opposing teams parking lot in SF or LA requires private security and life insurance. lol I have literally seen fans call for taxis just to drive them to their cars. And fights break out every inning.
I have no idea how this bitter rivalry between the Yankees and Red Sox got started, but I would like to believe that if great players like Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris were still alive today, they'd be quite ashamed of it.
@CliftonPhotographer Its the bleacher creatures, what do you expect? Sit anywhere else in the stadium and the fans (unless drunk) are there to watch the game.
Who said anything about a salary cap? It's the LACK of a salary cap that makes it so fun to watch the Yankees lose. Seeing them get beat in the World Series by the Dbacks (5th to last in budget) and Marlins (2nd to last in budget) is pure joy. I mean, even the Astros know how to lose a World Series.
i wasnt trying to continue the argue i just made points about how both teams fans take the game seriously. i might hate the yankees but i dont hate all the players. i think that jeter is a fair player and that posada is an unbelievable hitter. i could act like i hate them but i still think that their a really talented team
DEFINE A BOSTON REDSOX FAN AKA FAIR WEATHER FAN! A fan of a sports team who only shows support when the team is doing well. During hard times they usually bandwagon other teams. They basically have no real loyalty to the team, but still manage to get better seats than you at the game. Strangely they mysteriously vanish at the first sign of trouble.
First problem is that he was in the bleachers. I am a Yankee fan in New England and I can tell you that I have had worse experiences in the outfield at Fenway including food thrown at me and being pushed around. And I have had some Sox Neanderthals actual curse at my 4 year old daughter.
normally i'm getting drunk with my friends and not camped around a tv on new years eve. good luck in the series. see what happens when arod shows up to play - you guys actually win!
The millennium officially started on 1 January 2001. But most people regarded 1 January 2000 as a good day to start the party! Why? - Because there is no year "0" in our calendar system. It started at 1AD; two thousand years on, or two millennia is celebrated in 2001!
And people wonder why others hate the Yankees. Im a PROUD Mets fan and I respect EVERYTHING the Yankees have ever done, but thier fans make me hate the team.
Keep your eyes peeled...The Chowder Surfer may live in Brooklyn, but he's as loyal to his home team as any good Sox fan! Check him out serving up his NE Clam Chowder outside Yankee Stadium free to Boston fans and not even for sale to Yanks fans! Watch as things get a little out of control as misplaced Sox fans find each other around the chowder pot! Coming soon!!! Keep a look out Sox fans!
Amen. When I was at Yankee Stadium in 2005. Mets win 9-2. I was chanting "Yankees Suck" with a couple of other Met fans, some asshole Yankee fan threw a half full cup of beer at me. I gave him the finger and he got all pissed. After the Mets started piling it on in the 7th, he left.
For Yankee fans (like me), this video is a priceless relic from the past.
As a redsox fan there is nothing wrong with this idk why alot of people are sayin Yankee fans suck cause of this they get the same treatment when they come to fenway well not as bad since the rivalry aint like it used to be
When I went to Fenway wearing my Arod Jersey and sat in the bleachers in right field nobody chanted asshole at me. They were just chanting Arod!
Facts
The original bleachers.... The good old days
I live in NY and grew up in NYC. But I was raised as a Red SOx fan. Feels awesome being
booed at. lol!
It just makes me feel like a stronger fan.
Welcome to the Bronx!
Who in the hell would want to go to that fuckin sewer?..........
Yankees fans, Eagles fans, and Celtics fans have gotta be the 3 most annoying fan bases in all of sports
An Astros fans future later this year.
its great to be a Yankees fan. im proud of my people. Bleed pinstripes forever.
SPANKEES SUCK DOG BALLS THERE ya turdpile!.........
in italy,if a fan had done such a thing during derby roma-lazio in football match would have die....it's nice to see sportsmanship between two rival fans...we have much to learn...greetings frome rome
Soccer is gay though
I miss old Yankees Stadium.
As a Sox fan who lived in NY for 15 years this brings back fond memories. If you're not too obnoxious they'll only chant at you.
As a lifelong Mets fan, I have to say I root for the Bosox when they play. It gives me pleasure to see the Yankees struggling .
bc the mets struggle big time so you need another team to route for 😂😂
Even the Red Sox fan was heckling him lmao
I have sat on in the old Yankee stadium bleachers w my sox gear on. Sox got the last laugh in 2004
miss the good old days
This is classless but pretty funny. I'd consider joining in just because of how unbearable Red Sox fans in general have become since 2004.
They’re still more tolerable than Yankees fans
as a Red Sox fan I gotta say that I read the book and ventured into the Bleachers this past August...
Dude shut up. Nobody asked for your obnoxious approval.
And people think Red Sox fans are the worst...
Nah as a yankee fan i can say we are much worse than Boston fans
pretty wild this video has been on youtube 15 years now. miss this place.
the yankee fans are the best fans in sports history and you no it
You're an idiot.
If by best you mean the absolute worst then yes.
worst*
@@tylerm6765 definitely. he doesn't even know proper grammar/spelling
pov: you’re a warden at rikers island walking through the cell block
haha, new york! classy on the field and in the stands!
I'm a Sox fan living in NYC. When I wear my cap and the Yanks win, I get a lot of talk.
It's been pretty quiet lately.
Yankees fans and Red Sox fans are terrible.
Charlie ND Toronto? I’ll speak for both Yankees and Red Sox fans, the blue jays suck
leafs getting ready for another first round exit eh?
an enemy fan will never survive the yankee bleachers
im a die hard red sox fan and im aware yankees got 27. but i'll easily say this: 3x in the last 10 years! #2004 #2007 #2013
3x in the last 95 years
Dale Mabry Good one dude
And in that last 95 years only one team came back from a 3-0 deficit.
not to mention being down 3 games to 0 in 2004 ALCS and 3 games to 1 in 2007 ALCS,
+Brian Busto Yep, compared to 27 in the last 92 years.
Why don't you spend 300 million? Maybe then you'll win another championship. Red Sox are just a better organization. You guys were awesome in the 1900's!
new york fans...never keeping it classy. (GO CHICAGO)
P.S. I'm not a bandwagon fan. I was born in the Bronx and I currently live in Minnesota.
that was right before the blew a 3-0 lead
might just be the best video on RUclips.
What? That's the weirdest fucking comeback I've ever heard.
I give that Boston fan credit hiking through all that Yankee clutter by himself.
Red Sox fan here, been to both stadiums.
Boston stadium is more historical, smoke/bar area inside, decent area surrounding , dope vibes
Yankee stadium is in hood ehh train station attached to stadium basically, that was unexpected and cool but that’s nyc for ya
pov: you’re a warden at rikers island doing rounds
Another example of how the Bleacher Creatures treat real people
I'm doing this one day. Not even a big Sox fan anymore, but I'm doing it.
That sounds about right.
Poor Yankees fans don't know what to do in October without a postseason.
Go Sox!
So long ol' pal *sobs*, you hold too many memories.
Tomorrow is the last game of the Yankee Stadium.
The bleacher creatures are infamous for being merciless.
Im gonna walk through that crowd with a Red Sox hat, Patriots jersey, and Celtics shorts.
Always wanted to go through the bleachers with a Yankee's hat, Patriot's jersey, and Celtics shorts. =]
He who laughs last, laughs loudest
Passionate fans...100%, guy got some ba$$s walking through that. Go Yanks!!!
Man, I never thought i'd feel sorry for a Boston fan, but that musta been rough..
Let’s go Yankees let’s go Yankees
The 2nd to last game where the Yankees were better than the Red Sox
that was a sea of guidos, goombas, and construction workers
@yankeesownyou1016
well you're referring to the past too with the whole world series thing. and as of right now we're only half a game out of first. Thank you very much.
I can understand this. If here in Europe some fan went in wrong side on the kop of enemies fans, he is dead. Really dead.
ugh......those Bleacher Creatures
It's sad. Those are the best seats a red sox fan can afford.
i dont see why everyone is complaining, its a rivalry like the dodgers-giants in california
That's horrible!! I would never treat a Yankees fan like that at Fenway Park!
Yankees very good Baseball team
Notice however that security was escorting him out, so he must’ve done something real bad to get three sections chanting asshole at him.
Security wasn't escorting me out. That dude was laughing at the whole thing.
considering this century still has 92 years left in it...i think im not worrying
Somebody shouldve thrown a beer on him. I saw it happen to a Red Sox fan during the 99 ALCS but it doesnt happen enough. Sox fans need to know their role.
Ever walk into a place, and feel like everyone is staring at you? The guy that filmed this, has. lol
They are not excuses, they're reasons.
I miss hangin' out in the bleachers
It doesn't matter who we faced or how bad we beat them. All that matters is that we beat them.
yeah... against a guy who was starting his second game above single A. Getting swept in a three game series in April is better than sucking for a friggin century.
They should have been yelling 'STUPID' !!!
'cause that was stupid crazy...surprised he wasn't upper-Decked...
The Giants have built a solid team and are primed to do something big this year.
Before Belichick, the Pats were nothing. The Giants had (2) bowls in the eighties and returned in 2000. They rise and fall every 15 years.
ESPN really ought put a camera up in the bleachers, Well maybe not.
pt5
All that matters is that not only did a team that hadn't won in 86 years, but a team that you had on the edge of the cliff once again came back to beat you in three straight, and then barrel through the World Series. good xxxxxxxxxxx
I am not the biggest Red Sox fan, but I hope they won this one.
You get this in the 500 levels at Rogers centre now
I have a this wav file on my computer that I made that says: "The Red sox Suck, The Yankees rule, Deal With It!!!" would go well with this crowd
im a yankees fan and this is pretty cool that this guy did this, very funny...
Sox fans: Stay out of the bleachers.
yeah, and let's completely overlook that 86-year gap. Everyone was just on break, right? That's what Buckner told me, at least.
One reason why the Yankees are the best fans on earth
I have no idea how this bitter rivalry between the Yankees and Red Sox got started, but I would like to believe that if great players like Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris were still alive today, they'd be quite ashamed of it.
we never show red soxs fans any good dam respect till they get the amount of rings we got then they can talk to us
@CliftonPhotographer

0:03 he’s wearing a Boston shirt
Its a Boston Sucks shirt
hm how'd that series work out again?
lol that must've made it to the background sound on the TV
2004
The Red Sox fan with the camera had the last laugh.
i wasnt trying to continue the argue i just made points about how both teams fans take the game seriously. i might hate the yankees but i dont hate all the players. i think that jeter is a fair player and that posada is an unbelievable hitter. i could act like i hate them but i still think that their a really talented team

Vince McMahon made that chant famous.
this video makes me so happy.

wow, how brave is that guy.
Oh how the tables have turned 😂😂

Yeah I know I realized that after I had posted it one more that the Sox dont have
