      Wow these old National anthems from the motherland is amazing even though I’m going to stick with the Soviet national anthem mean the State anthem of the USSR 1977 Version & sometimes I’ll play the Russian patriotic song & the State anthem of the Russian Federation am I special terms I always play USSR national anthem it’s my thing when it comes to the old Soviet public holidays to the Red Army Day (The defender of the fatherland day) - Day of the great October socialist revolution (October Revolution Day) anyway nice comment Conrad or friend to the party of Lenin & the motherland👍🏼😁

      Honestly, Russians keep blaming the economy to Yeltsin but honestly, even if Yeltsin wasn't drunk and he was a competent ruler, the economic situation in Russia won't improve either. You get a chart of gas prices per year and you get a chart of Russia's economic growth and you'll notice the pattern. Russian economy is super dependent on oil exports and is not that diversified at all, not Brezhnev, not Gorbachev, not Yeltsin, not Putin or Medvedev tried to diversify the Russian economy. So when the economic recovery starts, I won't give the credit to Putin, I'll give credit to global oil prices that time.
      In Kazakhstan, before Tokayev there was one ruler who ruled the country from its independence in 1991 up to his resignation in 2019, that's Nazarbayev, he was the country's ruler for almost 30 years but in the early years of Kazakhstan as a nation, was also sh¡tty economically and what Nazarbayev just need to do is to wait for gas prices to go up so he would become popular as the economy grows again and it did happen, Nazarbayev stayed from 1990s up until recovery started in the 2000s while Yeltsin resigned in 1999 thus the rising gas prices and economic recovery started under (NOT STARTED BY) Putin.

  • @StarwarsHalofreak
    @StarwarsHalofreak 6 лет назад +60

    If you ask me, this anthem is befitting of a Post-Soviet Russia; it's optimistic. It tells of a country freed from a dark time and is now ready to face the new millennium as a new nation. It may have been remembered more fondly if more thought was put into the lyrics earlier, if Yeltsin didn't taint it with his tomfoolery, and last but not least, if we didn't try to establish influences in the former Soviet Union. No offense, but the current anthem, though worded very differently, still just feels dated, out of place in a country that insists has changed. Just makes Russia feel like it's afraid to let go of this crutch that used to make them great, and be great on their own.
    Before you say it's because I'm just blindly anti-communist, get this; I much prefer Auferstanden Aus Ruinen over Deutschlandlied for a post WW2 Germany for the same exact reason.

      @@AmericanImperium1776 In Russia, all Yeltsin's enemies are beggars and communists, also happening in the West. Yeltsin freed Russia from the evil of communism. But the communists and the KGB took revenge by bringing a KGB officer to power and returning communism with its poverty and lawlessness

      @@МортимерКорбет Have you heard of the 1993 Constitutional Crisis in Russia also called Black October. Anti-Yeltsin Forces protested the the government. Well, it wasn’t just Communists who were protesting, it was also genuine Non-Communist Russian Nationalists as well. But, you’ll probably still call them Communists. How about stop you believing the West and begin to look at them critically as well. Not just Russia.
