Whatever Backbone did to get their controller recognized in COD Mobile, Gamesir should do the same. This would make for a much better CODM controller than the Backbone.
This was the video I needed to buy the X2 Pro, I wanted to game through steam remote play or moonlight/Nvidia gamestream, but a nasty iPega controller with awful joysticks was turning the experience into a letdown. Thankfully the upgrade to this will help in ergonomics (having phone in the stand was quite uncomfortable) and especially usability, as playing any story driven game with some sort of shooting, be it Horizon Zero Dawn, CP2077 or RDR2, was a complete nightmare.

About the questionable app: if you only play games or emulators that natively support controllers, then you don't even need it. Even if you want to change the ABXY layout, you can just do that and then uninstall the app - the setting is saved in the device itself. 👍 And if you want controller to touchscreen mapping, you can use other apps like Mantis for that. All in all, while I sure wish the app was better and more trustworthy, you don't need to have it permanently installed for anything. So at least it's not a dealbreaker

Ive been a Flydigi user ever for 8 years and loved their product. But im looking at another telescopic controller specifically this one. The only thing that worries me is the app support. How well does gamesir's app compare with flydidi's? I really like flydigi's app as its easy to use and love their control modes be it their flash (forgot what its called) mode or the classic mode. Does gamesir have something similar as well? Also, i will be using this on my ROG 7 Ultimate so i know its not gonna be inside perfectly but offset due to the phone's offset usb port at the bottom
Flydigi's app is perfect, the gamesir one is much more limited, if you're gonna change to this one I recommend buying a paid mapper app like mantis or octopus
I have the original one and I have no idea what you are talking about in terms of imput lag, and I wanted the usb on the left so the z fold 5 screen access it at the top not bottom if the usb is on the right.... the dpad on the left side could be better and the L2/R2 could be pressure sensitive, but other than that there are zero differences....

I really want a Gamevice Flex but it is never in stock. I suppose it is being discontinued? This X2 Pro might be a good alternative. The only thing that concerns me besides some bad amazon reviews about the sticks and quality control is that the rubber insert isn't removable on the usb-c side to allow you to keep your phones case on it. I have a S23 Ultra. This is one reason I was trying to hold out for a Flex. Has anyone tried this controller with a case?

i live in Indonesia, for xbox gaming cloud needs the ultimate one and here it needs vpn to play the game, so it's not the smoothest one. But i use this for Geforce Now and it has server in Singapore so this is the better idea for now using this controller.

No it wil slow charge and that's whats intended because fast charging makes the battery hotter When its fully charged the phone itself will stop charging the battery and keep using power from the port normally

I own this controller and 'visually' it's a nice looking design but, the software to connect to phones is horrible. On my 2017 LG V30 (running Android 9 Pie), whenever I plug in the USB-C cable to charge my phone while I play, the controller's two indicators lights blink 10 times then disconnects itself from my phone. However, my friend's latest Samsung Galaxy S phone allowed passthrough charging to work just fine with the X2 Pro. Initially, I was thinking that my Android software is too old or my cellular provider was blocking the USB connection selection but, when I'd connected my phone to my friend's new Razer Kishi V2, passthrough charging worked flawlessly. Basically, I have to either upgrade my phone or buy a different android gaming controller. 🤷🏾♂️

I haven't tested the kishi but the gamesir x2 pro have better sticks The kishi uses joycon style analog sticks that can develop drift more quickly compared to the alps sticks of the gamesir x2 pro

You can, for cloud gaming change your id region into us or Australia then redeem it. To play you need vpn, free vpn will do in my case, connect to US, Japan or Australia then play cloud games. As long as its not competitive games its good no massive delays etc.

X pro 2 buttons stick to my thumbs sometimes, can't use the gamsir app for mobile gaming button mapping for mobile games, best use the gamsir x 3.. Also, all x pro are type C port 1 way charge, don't expect input or output the type c, only charges. Does not super charge.

You technically don't want to fast charge while playing. Fast charge warms up the phone plus streaming/playing on it will also heat it up more. Fast charge isn't a great feature for gaming on a phone. U less it has a dedicated cooler like the one Asus offers.
It supports "normal", aka "slow" charging just fine. So if you start playing with a half charged phone, you can play indefinitely and it'll slowly charge meanwhile. The only thing that wouldn't work well is when the phone is almost empty.
recently bought it to use with my samsung s21 pro and fuck its a nightmare to configurate. x2 is way better, almost plug in and ready to play... with the new version it asks the phone every kind of weird permission so it can "almost" work fine... it totally fucks my screen touch once I get in game.. idk if im the only one with this kind of issue

Both have different uses Xbox + clip You can use the controller on pc or with the smartphone docked but its not very portable you'll have more input lag because the connection is bluetooth and its not very nice to play when laying in your bed X2 pro You can play only on your smartphone, it is very confortable to play on your bed and its more portable and you won't have any input lag
@@VKsChannel for the inputlag you can connect the Xbox controller with a USB cable. But yeah it makes it even less portable. Once or twice per month I have to travel 6h by train for work and I don't know what would be the best option. Other than that I don't plan to play on my phone in bed or other places. I already have an Xbox controller so it's more like a clip like a PowerA MOGA 2.0 vs X2 pro.

@@VKsChannel Actually pretty much any controller that is like that and connects to your phone can be used on a computer through nvidia moonlight or steam link. That way you can also use your computer as if you were playing on a streaming service (such as geforce now, xbox cloud, but your computer is streaming to your phone instead).
I have a regular X2 and have none of the issues you're showing. OG X2 is not trash. And the best part is it the USB-C is on the left instead of the right. That alone makes X2 better than the pro for Galaxy Folds.
Just go and buy the X3. It works perfectly plus the controller have additional RGB fan attached with the controller. Have test it with my Galaxy Note 9. The Type-C charging port work without any issue
This device sucks, can't get Bluetooth to work, and the LT trigger doesn't work, I've been hours trying to get the stupid thing to work and still no luck

you can repeat the tests with other controllers, if you have a slow motion mode on your smartphone

depends on the case, if your case is very thin it will work, but with my s20fe it won't connect

Both have different uses
Xbox + clip
You can use the controller on pc or with the smartphone docked but its not very portable you'll have more input lag because the connection is bluetooth and its not very nice to play when laying in your bed
X2 pro
You can play only on your smartphone, it is very confortable to play on your bed and its more portable and you won't have any input lag
@@VKsChannel for the inputlag you can connect the Xbox controller with a USB cable. But yeah it makes it even less portable. Once or twice per month I have to travel 6h by train for work and I don't know what would be the best option. Other than that I don't plan to play on my phone in bed or other places. I already have an Xbox controller so it's more like a clip like a PowerA MOGA 2.0 vs X2 pro.
@@Ogk10 well the x2 pro makes the experience feels more like a portable handheld but since you already have an xbox controller a clip is not a bad idea, and in fact its cheaper
@@VKsChannel Actually pretty much any controller that is like that and connects to your phone can be used on a computer through nvidia moonlight or steam link. That way you can also use your computer as if you were playing on a streaming service (such as geforce now, xbox cloud, but your computer is streaming to your phone instead).
I have a regular X2 and have none of the issues you're showing. OG X2 is not trash. And the best part is it the USB-C is on the left instead of the right. That alone makes X2 better than the pro for Galaxy Folds.
There are games that will refuse to rotate to the other side. That's why it sucks. Normal apps rotates to the right.
You must have been on to something. Gamesir x2 usb-c had no lag. Such circuses were with pad bt.

i almost bought the x2 non pro, so hlad I wenz with the pro
Just go and buy the X3. It works perfectly plus the controller have additional RGB fan attached with the controller. Have test it with my Galaxy Note 9. The Type-C charging port work without any issue
The x3 have the same deadzones of the x2
In order to use the fan on the X3 it has to be plugged into a power source…. Sounds useless to me, but that’s just my personal opinion.

Even worse, the fan has a seperate port, so for using while charging your phone, you need to plug in TWO cables.

This device sucks, can't get Bluetooth to work, and the LT trigger doesn't work, I've been hours trying to get the stupid thing to work and still no luck
It's not bluetooth, you must connect it to the USB C slot on the bottom
@VK's Channel it says in the app and on the website about Bluetooth connection, but without Bluetooth it still can't be used properly cos of the LT not working
did you try to configure it? some people mentioned something about holding select & rb until some light flashes then it should work. i think it's a glitch in the software & not hardware
