Thank you so much!!! I love all of yalls videos--they help so much! A few months ago I didn't know anything about Barnard, and now it's one of my top schools (I'm a rising senior btw) **fingers crossed that I get in**
Also, I'm not sure if you guys have made a vid about this already, but could you talk about how Barnard compares to other women's colleges/some of the other seven sister schools and maybe stereotypes (lol) or distinctive factors between them and Barnard
(I'm planning on majoring in something STEM like environmental science or math (I originally thought engineering but I'm not sure anymore), but like I'm really indecisive and really love humanities and the social sciences so like who knows--and bc of that I'm starting to consider more liberal arts colleges and women's colleges, lol i need some guidance)

Thank you! That’s such a great vid idea- we’ll do a video about the other women’s colleges. Thanks for the great suggestion :)

You guys are literally so helpful! Can you guys talk about the myBarnard and Columbia portals and what they’re used for, if that makes any sense? I’m just really confused with everything 😅

Hi, I’m a rising senior and want to apply to Barnard but I have a question... do you feel Barnard is truly worth the money? Student loans and all? My parents have told me I can only apply for CUNY schools because of how expensive private colleges are. We are in the common middle class family situation of ‘makes too much to earn financial aid, but not enough to pay for college’. I’m afraid I won’t get the same experiences, education and networks that I want in college at a CUNY.
Sincerely, a lost and confused student

Hi Amelia! Wow, I really relate to this question and my parents thought a lot about this when deciding what to do with my brother and my's education. Ultimately, they decided Barnard was worth it BECAUSE of the network and high caliber education. Because of Barnard I had two past internships and have a full time job graduating, and Margaret does also. That being said, you will succeed at any college you go to because you are intelligent and hard working and what college you go to is never the end-all-be-all. I think it comes down to if you want to come out of college with loans or not but either choice has a lot of a pros (CUNY schools= no loans + head start after college) (Barnard= loans but an amazing network + place for opportunities). Also CUNY schools are AMAZING and will have great educational opportunities, so either choice is great :)
