HX EFFECTS has 9 blocks, so you can make most sounds.I put the BOSS Pocket GT in my HX Stomp's fx loop, as a multistomp. To incorporate my favorite Terra Echo algorithm. Also helps to eliminate DSP capacity shortage.

I have Joyo American Sound into FX LOOP 1. Works great.
I attempted to add JHS Morning Glory to FX LOOP 2…not working well. If mix is 100% it’s muted, I keep around 89% mix but although it’s OD pedal, when it’s engaged, volume is weaker and the sound is actually cleaner than not running an OD at all.
Thoughts?
Can you have the main input and output of the HX Effects set to stereo line level, and then have mono inserts for pedals in the loops at instrument level? I want to use it as an insert on my interface, but occasionally plug my pedal board into it.
Is there difference in the sound if you put pedal (distortion) in the loop or infront ?
Any issue with the fx loop? Someone said this unit doesn't take overdrive pedal very well i the fx loop, is that true? I really want this unit

My HX FX loop is very very noisy. So I’m just running drive in the front.
Wowsers??? It shouldn’t be??? Are you running both your pedals on separate power supplies? Or on the same power supply like a strymon Zuma?
@@thepedalpicassos I’m running of a Truetone CS6. And yes I tried them both in separate loops. But not worth the hassle.
Is it possible for FX loop to be always on and in the background so that I could have an additional footswitch option in HX Effects?
Yes! Absolutely! Just turn the loop on. Save the preset. Then it’s always on! Then assign your Footswitch to something else!

Is there a way to add a pedal if my hx effects is 4cm? I tried it on the hx loop also without 4cm Thanks
Yes! Just put your pedal in the fx loop of your HX effects… and then you can move around like any other block!!
@@thepedalpicassos thanks . I just put the normal send and return cables from HX to Amp , and put my guptech eq into the HX loop 1 and it sounds great !

Yes! You sure can!

Another specific question, I want to use the sane FX loop twice to have have two different versions, is that possible?
I'm having trouble getting my FX Loop digital delay pedal effect to work. Are there Global Settings that need to be in place? I'm using HX Edit software on the channel so I'm unclear what the Bypass/Control should be.
Hello there mate! I didn’t have to change any settings to get the fx loop to work, whenever I add an fx loop block it just works straight away? Sorry I can’t help more….
