really beautiful. I love Gaelic songs. I think this style of music comes from the spirits. I'm a Gaelic, folk and Celtic singer too, I'm Brazilian. I have a project of mine called " Ceòl agus Spiorad ". I have been very connected to this culture since forever. Kisses from Brazil.
So proud to be Irish our ancestors would be so proud of these two any many others like them to carry on our great heritage of song and story telling 🇮🇪
Anac Cuan is a poem composed by the Mayo bard- Anthony Rafferty. The song commentates the tragedy that occured in the mid 1800's on Lough Corrib, Ct. Galway. The corrough was transporting sheep and villagers across the lake, when it sprang a leak. This lamentation manifests the fragility of life.
Nach deas an leagan sin atá ag an beirt agaibh, is nach iontach deas na guthanna is an comhcheol le chéile, nár laga Dia do fonnadóireacht, le gach dea guí ó Cúl an tSiúdaire, Contae na Laoise.

Yes feels like it is the very Earth singing to us. Much cultures of folk music have that feeling to me
