I love how raw and primal the divine aspect of this boss is, like Marika's demigod children are cool and all but they are kinda... subdued, civilized, you have to know their lineage to understand their divinity. Not this thing, it wields primal powers with reckless abandon, the deafening sound of it's roar carries the frost of winter, the power of lightning, and the howling storm. This isn't a bunch of spoiled royals sitting pretty in their thrones, it is untamed nature made manifest, beasts and elements melded into one.
@@gustavoalmeida704 Messmer marching his army straight into the towerfolk was rather saddening to watch in the story trailer imo. Now it feels almost satisfying for me.
well after all its called a beast, most people think the 2 men under the costume are the ones controlling it, but it's the opposite, "take root in the tower's scuplted keepers", said keepers are the men and the beast posseses them to use them as its legs and arms, those beasts are said to be sent from heaven (probably enir ilim), So I think the costume's head is sentient, after all its eyes glow for some reason when you enter.
The best description of this I’ve heard was from a RUclips comment I think, who put it as “divinity unchained”. And it makes so much sense to put it like that. All of the Golden Order’s divinity is chained, held back. But not this one. This is divinity in its purest form.
This honestly might have been my favorite fight of the DLC. At first it makes no sense but after you get used to the song and dance, you feel like you're participating in a mystical ritual. It's absolutely beautiful, and the OST going so hard definitely helps

1:19 this part is my favourite of the whole ost. It sets the atmosphere of this thing so well.
I really wished they capitalized on the traditional flutes more for this fight. Or added in the traditional drums and cymbals for a Chinese lion dance
It also foreshadows Miquella’s theme (promised consort phase 2)
Perfect workout music
