Was going Jack you. There is no other reason for two cars following like that. At the time in the am and blocking both lanes like he did.
I'm hoping I'm absolutely wrong, but a 2-3am grouping, blocking the road, bullet hole in the car, gun cases in the trunk... it feels like a potential mugging that was last minute abandoned when he realized who you were. again i hope i'm mistaken but regardless, i'm glad you two are safe and sound.

This exact scenario happened like 20 times over the course of 6 months at our local track until the cops finally put the carjacking ring in jail. They would scope out expensive trucks and trailers that weren't rolling with a crew and then cause an "accident" on the way home and then carjack the driver. "You already called the cops or nah?" was the first thing out of their mouths so they know how much time they have to rob you and get away. You got incredibly lucky here but they will 100% try it again. Carjacking and boosting is a massive problem in the Atlanta area and Georgia in general.

Most definitely was a failed robbery attempt! Seen a similar situation. They have 1 car in front 1 car in the back to box you in. Now when you stop, passenger hops out, hold you at gunpoint, steal the truck and all 3 vehicles leave. Now since you hit his car, it's disabled, so if he left it there, the cops will find out who he is and arrest him. But he played it off.

I am going to say the same thing I said 2 years ago. GET A DASHCAM The last one was recorded from someone else so you got saved by that, this one you got saved by the guy taking the blame hopefully, next time may not be so lucky. Plus you could make a killer video with the footage.

That time of night in that area they were going to try to jack you or at least was on their way or going to some shady shit. He didn’t understand that 25k lbs isnt stopping quick and when you hit him it threw him off his game. Not to mention the airbags going off and him spinning. That truck can certainly throw a punch! Man, PLEASE get yourself a dashcam. You have all types of cameras but no dashcam. It will add to your content if needed and save your ass in the long run.
Yup I caught a head on crash in a garage space and send it to the person who wasn’t at fault funny thing was that day I sat in the car with the ignition on to have the dashcam record if there something happen not few minutes later bam that shit happen there was ton of teslas park in the garage they usually record 24hr but lucky for the victim I have reversed parked and dashcam record it perfectly.
@@vce.john1734 They are great to have for this reason. My wife was just involved in a hit and run last week. Our dashcam caught it all and we were able to locate the other driver. I've caught countless accidents from minor fender benders to 8+ car pile ups on the freeway. The company I work for has them in every service vehicle and they have paid for themselves a couple times over.

My parents use to drive a truck for FedEX they said its a insurance scam called stop and sqat - as in they stop in front of you and sqat for impact. Its not uncommon on big rigs but I am assuming they saw your set and thought money. Did the right thing - sheesh man. I am glad you guys are ok.
Nah they saw he was carrying a car trailer and wanted to Steel it. Probably didn't think girth was so heavy and expected him to stop before the Camaro that was blocking the road and he would have flashed some stick and took everything but he couldn't drive the camaro anymore to get away after the theft so he had to back out and act like it was an accident. Seen it before in real life. Gavin is lucky he totaled that car
