- Tornado sirens go off regularly here in my small Louisiana town, but rarely do we see the reality of what a huge Tornado's true power is... In just minutes, my entire town was destroyed.

This video gives me flashbacks. My entire town went through the eye of Hurricane Michael while it was a Category 5. Callaway, FL. The entire town is still mostly destroyed and it's 6 months later.

@@RamitKhanna_ Electricity wants to go to the ground, it won't travel upwards if it can go downwards. And cars are made to withstand lightning strikes, so just don't touch anything metal and go through the line.

Hey bro I feel your pain. I live in Moore, OK and if you know we had an F5, mile wide tornado in 2013 and it wiped out the entire town. It missed our house by about half a mile and it was the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced.
I was living in the comfort of my own home in perfectly normal weather, and this video still scared me when I watched it the first time.

It is after the tornado. If you don't live in the tornado alley you don't know anything about tornadoes. After a tornado passes another one can form but the chance of it is very slight. Once the tornado has passed there is no tornado warning.

There are plenty of resources to educate yourself with. Just because someone lives where tornadoes are more likely to form doesn’t mean they’re more knowledgeable on the topic. I think this is the same system that hit 5 miles from my house. I went out there leaving drill early and worked for about a week. I got there so fast that I was put on a search and rescue team. I'll spare the details but needless to say that was the worst day of my life. God bless y'all.

When there was a hurricane raging outside, my family and I drove out into the storm so my mom could "ride" a giant chicken statue because we knew a security guard for the factory the statue is at wouldn't be there.
I line in South Carolina and thankfully so far I have never seen this happen near me but hearing a tornado in Myrtle beach that chilled me

1976 my school took a direct hit during class. I was found 200yrds away from school yet survived with just bruises and scratches. I've always told my family to pay attention to extreme temperature shifts with clouds. Well, it happened again but not to me but them. I was 4hrs away and could do nothing but hope. My home took a direct hit in Cookeville Tennessee. Being a Floridian I've been through dozens of Hurricanes, tornadoes are no joke !!

In Colorado that had happened in a matter of 8hours a yearish ago,it was a cold night got to 36 Fahrenheit, then at around 2in the after noon a thunder storm came through , it was around 58 during the thunder storm and then it was sunny , this was from I would say 6in the morning till around 3in the afternoon, where I live the weather can be crazy,snow thunderstorms and sunny weather in one day, one place in Colorado can average around this time of year a 20-45degree difference from night to day,the only thing we don’t have is hurricanes unless you count Reminence of one

Tornados are scary as hell, so glad I live in Aus where we rarely ever get them. Wind storms are bad enough, but the damage tornados create is just insanity
The same exact thing happened to the town right next to mine on December 31st 2010 when a high end ef-3 tornado touched down a half mile away from my house and completely devastated the towns of Fenton and Sunset Hills Missouri.

Directly after this people go out exploring and cause issues. The fact they are laughing isn’t a coping mechanism it’s them finding it amusing. And if everyone said “it’s not my job to check on people” nobody would be a good neighbor.
They’re quite young, and things may not have sinked in until morning. And yes laughing is a form of coping with things, plus it’s an adventure so in your mind it’s an adventure . Also at night people can be more hyper. I see nothing really disturbing by how they were because this is something they have never been through and at the time they only knew that they were curious, in which that’s natural in humans..oh and causes people to be excited.
@@overknight5278 This may be true for people who actually suffer real loss like their whole home or business got wiped out, however these clowns only suffered a loss of electricity in ther college apartment their parents pay for, their whole goal here was to make a youtube video and promote merch that no one but them care about. otherwise they would have not put the merch and subscribe text popups in the video randomly. This was thought out to exploit the after effects of natural disaster - thinks - ""hey this could make me some youtube money" Says - "Lets go explore"..

This is giving me flashbacks to when Irma came through Orlando, but a lot less "oh my god!"-ness. Roomie and I just sat in the living room with some beers watching it rip up the city, then when it was over we grabbed some gloves and shop brooms and cleaned up the complex best we could.
Been in a lot of tornadoes. When living in Arizona, Oklahoma and here in Washington State. No fun at all. Scary as hell. Been in forest fires, floods, ice storms, and earthquakes. No fun. So much damage. Wish you all good luck. Blessed Be and God Speed you safely into the morning.

@@TheArt4M I had to stop watching. I live in Oklahoma, the birthplace of tornadoes. The aftermath of these mighty storms can be quite horrific, and where property is destroyed, in the very least, you worry about the financial impact ... and then the very most, loss of life. These are grown men who drove around town to rubberneck, and not once did I EVER hear any concern for anyone affected by the tornado. My first thought when I saw the destroyed gas station was "I hope no one was working that night." It never once dawned on any of them to roll down their windows while driving around and ask people who were obviously shaken, standing out in the street, if they were okay or needed help. As my daughter would say, "those are the kind of people that make Americans look bad."

As a daughter of a first responder, I think seeing the young so insensitive to it and putting themselves is a real worry. First responders have enough to cope with during times like this. Hey Justa6, glad you guys are okay! I am a trained storm chaser and spotter. The damage here is pretty significant after watching the video. The tornado that came through there was rated an EF-3. Which is very strong. It could've been worse. Had it'd be an EF-5, Your whole town would've been wiped off the map. It's unfortunate for those that have lost their lives and RIP to them. Prayers to you and the city of Ruston for a speedy recovery.
