What is beauty? Try to define it on your own, and compare your definition to Plato's definition. See if yours is close! In this video, I provide an analysis of every definition of beauty by Plato. I also provide my own definition of beauty. Then, I share a song that was inspired by thinking about what beauty is, and how to define it.
Philosophy aside, for me, beauty is an experience of inspiration. There is a potency of experience that swells into beauty. It's admittedly hard to agree on how to categorize a shared experience. I am still working on refining my definition of beauty and aesthetics.
