I built a budget Go-shintai deck and played it for the first time tonight. It was focused but very affordable. I lost my first match but dang near took out the table, it was tense. love the deck, love the feel, and love the fact that no one thinks shrines are dangerous... o .. but they are. I want to give you props - excellent breakdown on some of the subtle things going on! thanks for the lesson!
I combined Shrines with Gates for a Shrine Gate deck (figuring one can distract from the other). Paradox Haze to grant double upkeeps has a lot of potential to kick multiple shrines into overdrive. Extinguish all Hope is mostly a one sided wrath in the deck and Assemble the Legion is a slow burn build up threat which if delt with, can be brought back and distract from shrines
