- ✓ Just when we think that we've seen everything that there is to see in life, we come across "Astri Walla" (Ironing Master) Pankaj Bhai who despite not having any electricity at his roadside shop, still manages to offer a first class ironing service by way of using a charcoal powered iron; the iron is a throwback to the olden days when electricity was non existent or a rare commodity.
Pankaj Bhai also shares his great tip on how to aid the removal of creases; which is to spray a generous amount of water before ironing.
Pankaj Bhai also shows us the sequence in which to Iron a Shirt:
* Collar first
* Arms second
* Thirdly the back
* Forthly the front
* Fifth, the ironed piece of clothing is folded and given a final touch up with the iron.

Drinking Coconut Water while you wait for your ironing, it does not get any better than this when it comes to ironing.
Pankaj Bhai also sells Green Coconut Water and Kites when it is Kite season (Makar Sankranti) in India.
A very special thank you to Pankaj Bhai for allowing a peek into his roadside street stall.
Pankaj Bhai is located Opposite Outside the Railway Station, (below Dream Beauty Parlour), Alankar Road, Bardoli, Gujarat, India.

That guy was pretty brave, waving charcoal embers into the air, directly next to perfectly white fabric 😅
Very common in bangalore , down my house. He irons for 12 hours a day! Makes more than most white collar jobs
😂😂😂
A wonderful and natural video with traditionalism from the motherland, thank you very much,
Boy, things ironed with that beast of an iron would STAY ironed! Very cool!
Who old are you ?
No scrum meetings,
No reporting to office manager / boss
No suit, tie shoe bs to impress anyone
No getting stuck in commuting
No boot licking for increments
No need to ask permission for leaves
Blah blah blah
This guy in living the dream.

Totally agreeing with every single word you have written. 🙏🏽
Amazing, never thought i would see a coal powered iron in 2021! Just shows that the simplest can also be the best at times! Great capture, would love to see each Place and its best most interesting food, places etc
🙏🏽
due to economical crises all over the world, its seem the whole world will gradually adopt old, traditional, manual and simple ways or methods for survival of easy life.
and i, myself now believe in life where we are not depend on technologies related to 220volts electricity.
i like things running on manual methods such as typewriter, calligraphy, sweing machine on pedal system etc
How long has he been doing this business?
How much does he make a day/week?
Lovely video 👍🏻
would like have been nice to see some more stalls that were nearby.

Very hard job especially in summer with coal heat, priceless effort
🙏🏽
That iron is a must have! What a ingenious idea. Think of the money we would all save if we adopted this way of doing the ironing! Another great video 👍
👍🏼 🙏🏽
Yeah and its very heavy too. No need to lean in on it to add some weight. The only thing is it lacks a thermostat..so its a delicate balance between ironing and burning the cloth lol..
You would either burn the cloth or an ember or a piece of coal would dirty the cloth. It looks very inconvenient. I'm happy with my Philips Azur Elite. It's also heavy but it's modern and works without an hassle, unlike this one. But it's a cool iron never the less. I like the steampunk aesthetic.
acting like a anti-boomer huh@@BertyBertsson
It is very very old!perhaps seans 1922!!!you broke my heart!!
Good morning. I really enjoyed this one. It was different and gave a good atmosphere. The guy sure knew how to iron, I wish he lived down the street from me. He would get plenty of business. Thank you. Stuart
