seriously besides (nostalgia).. why would anyone buy these guitars? 7.25 radius, 60s C neck, hidden truss rod, no rolled edge.. all the inconveniences of the old days.. for that price.. oh man.. player or player plus would be the best.. or a charvel promod.. i LOVE the rosewood though.. but man.. you are not getting a whole lot for that price..
The rhythm circuit selects the neck pickup only and the main pickup selector is inactive. The roller controls are 1Meg for volume and 50k for tone, which is why the rhythm circuit is so much darker than the lead circuit. In the lead circuit, the middle position is hum cancelling.
Hey John, great overview but you skipped over the biggest change on the 60's Strat - bringing back the rosewood fretboard after seven or so years of pao ferro tyranny. (Originally instituted because of CITES regulations, but which quickly were effectively rescinded - but Fender Mexico never went back - til now, at least on the Strats). Why the Vintera 60s otherwise nearly identical "Classic 60s" predecessor has been so much more desirable to many.
I bought the Jag in this series. Fender shipped it with the wrong trem system installed. It was supposed to be a push-in. I came with a screw in. The included arm was a push- in, naturally. It didn’t fit. Fender’s response was to exchange the guitar. I see posts around that this trem mixup is happening with a lot of the Vintera 2 offsets. Inexcusably bad QC.
Fabulous review got the jazz master it’s got a beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard to use the Tone cercit all the time for jazz blues swing like having two guitars in one got all the other settings to on top .

If u search the modern sound, it’s ok, but this istrument it’s build on ‘60 Stratocaster specifics, u should think that before your shopping

That Jaguar is nice.
Fk yeah
more than nice

You got the funk. Nice intro track, great playing and demo. All three guitars are amazing. I might get that JM, and the Jaguar is calling too.
I love that jazzmaster.
Great playing as always John, digging this Vintera line!

1500 for a MIM is getting ridiculous. There are tons of Asian import guitars of equal or better quality for a lot less money.
Mexico has stepped up their quality a lot in the past decade, but yeah 1500 is getting crazy.
Yeah. The old Fender Classic Series 60s strats can be found at much better prices.
Great presentation! Obviously all the Vintera videos came out today. This was such a great creative way to feature all of them... John...❤🎸👍
Strangely similar to the Squier 40th anniversary Jazzmaster
Exactly my thought haha
Theres something awesome about the black Jag/maple neck
Every Vintage Vibe Squier I’ve played was spot on. These Fender branded models must be money maker machines.
I love mine. I have two Squier jags and a jm. I modded the crap out of them though
Wish they were nitro
Especially at that price

great demonstration
They never get the 3 tone sunburst on the 60s model correct. Looks like a 2 tone
The jazz master shot at 3:38 showing the high E off the saddle…
I've seen you play many different guitars..But seeing you play that Jazz Master.. Dude that is your look! It suits you to the T..
Great Playing, John.

The answer is always “yes this would make a good country guitar” whenever John demos, which works for me!
I like the jazzmaster best and a lot more than I thought I would. :)
make anodised gold again!
What amp here? Sounds delicious
1972 Fender Super Reverb
@@premierguitar thank you for the quick response.
Wow what a sound..
I love that 70’s Jaguar! To bad it didn’t come with the dark fretboard. Then it would be ultimate!!
Rowland s Howard vibes for sure
No depth in tone. Flat sounding strat.
Is the body smaller than normal on that jazzmaster?
I just know those P90s can rip
not p90s :)
Every single time, hahaha.
