Personally, making a list and breaking down what can be done last and what will take the most time is extremely helpful for me. Knowing what will take a minute and what will take an hour is crucial in planning my time well so that I don't get distracted or stopped from what I'm doing. And if I can't do everything I wanted to, I know that it's okay. Cleaning and keeping house is a process, not a one and done situation.

Apart from a chores list, i have a separate running list that i keep making as and when i think of something to do. Like calling someone, putting something away. Whenever i have 5 or 10 mins free i take a look at the list and try to finish some of the tasks. That way my brain remains free and i dnt forget things to do.
Yes, daily to do list..that's a good habit. I also follow that. It really helps me to stay productive and focused.
I too follow this habit. I have a notepad handy where I immediately jot down something I recollect or while cooking, if some item is about to finish, I note it down.

It's not about liking or not. A discipline needs to be brought. So 1st start doing it yourself. Set an example. Keep telling your husband and kids. They might not listen once twice or thrice, but they might listen the 10th or 15th or 50th time. You can do some prize activity for kids, like keep the room clean for a week and get some reward. .

Some of the features of the sealant which I felt were useful are : Easy to use, water resistant and since it allows for painting over it, the finish is clean with no trace of a crack and my personal favourite - I could do it effortlessly with no prior knowledge of grouting or sealant application
