Beautiful place! I agree with you completely, do the kind of riding you want on the kind of bike you need, be happy with what you have and where you can go. Lots of people can’t.

Hi Travis! Yep, you and Papa Cakes had the right idea, if it ain’t your kind of fun or not feeling it, take the way you ARE feeling it and have fun! 😊

I’m glad you’re feeling better. I’m looking forward to watching how you might adjust your approaches to ADV rides. While I do want to ride to see areas, I don’t want to risk injury or damage to get there. There is no shame in avoiding stuff that could hurt you and the point is to enjoy your bike not fight with it. Its a shameless niche of finding an easier way that no one is filling with the BDRs and other ADV rides right now on RUclips. Take it easy Beards!

Who knows how this is fitting in the Timeline of youtube land, but hope all is well and you're doing lots better. Love watching you out riding. And yes I was hoping to see a tabletop or backflip off the humped cattle guard! Keep the rubber side down.

I have taken my truck on the road from the north. This is a beautiful area. There should be lots of PCT hikers in there at this point. Thanks for the video.

Glad you are on the mend Travis. Olallie is a beautiful place for sure. The fires have really taken their toll on that area though.

With the exception of 4220, do you feel like section 6 is doable for newer riders? Looking to maybe do the north half of the BDR while I sharpen my skills.

Oh yeah can get up there easy. There are spots in every section of the ORBDR that need more than beginner skills however
