Who's here after seeing Top Gun Maverick? Every movie I have seen and will see in the future will never compare to how epic Top Gun Maverick was. They NAILED it in every way, even down to the correct brevity terms. Such attention to detail and a true homage to aviation.
I was Nine years old when Top Gun was aired. I am now 42 years old, and Top Gun is still my favourite Movie. And when i was watching the Trailer for T.G. Maverick, I had tears in my eyes, especially at the last scene with the Tomcat😇
I saw Top Gun at Epic Theaters for one of their Flashback Cinemas, classic films on the big screen. Holy shit....I had enjoyed Top Gun before, but that made me fall in love with the movie all over again. Goddamn it was awesome!
I was born in 1994. This movie was released in 1986 and I watched it for the first time in 2015. I'm in love with this theme and movie ever since! One of the best anthem! Gives me goosebumps and feel good music always!
In all my years of going to the cinema, it's rare that I've given a movie 10/10. There's usually an imperfection to not give it full marks somewhere, no matter how small or irrelevant. This is the first time I made an exception to that rule. Top Gun Maverick is a throwback to what going to the cinema used to be all about. It's set in the present day but had the feel of the 1980s. I was glued to my seat for two hours and twenty minutes, but it felt like ten minutes. This film is such a refreshing return to those blockbusters cinema nights out when you actually looked forward to a trip to the cinema. For me, every penny I spent on the ticket was worth it. I can't praise this movie enough. If you haven't watched it yet, go see it. Feel the need, the need for speed. 10/10 👍👌😎

On March 3, 1969, the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men who graduated were the best pilots in the world. They succeeded. Today, the Navy calls it Fighter Weapons School. The flyers call it...

The best movie I've ever seen in theaters. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was beautifully written, faithful to the original, action-packed... it was patriotic, it was unapologetically masculine, it had motorcycles, it had fighter jets, it had sexy women, it had guys wearing sunglasses, indoors, at NIGHT... in a word, it was PERFECT!!!

Played this at my friends funeral. He was 40. A total athlete. Then began drinking. Died of liver failure. I would visit him on multiple occasions and he would say, “Man, sit here and listen to the opening scene of Top Gun on my surround sound, Thomas.” And I had, many times, but he was always out of it. However, I would act as if it was my first time hearing it with him. I miss him dearly. Love you, brother.

Just got back from the theatre. Epic, simply epic! Tom Cruise deserves all the standing ovation he is getting. In terms of the feels, it ranks high up there with the likes of Endgame, no way home etc.
The F-14D Super Tomcat is still the best aircraft ever to fly off the deck of a flattop (better even than the F-35B). Top Gun is the best movie ever made that features fighter jets. (the legendary F-14 Tomcat is why its the best) And this is one of the best versions of the Top Gun anthem ever made. EPIC cover, gets a thumbs up from me :)
My dad worked on F-14s (Carrier CV-67, squadron VF-32 Swordsmen) and also was a green shirt when he was deployed. A few years back I went to a museum of aviation, and saw a tomcat from his squadron. Still have a model to this day. You best know I'm following in his footsteps.
When I heard this I got a bit teary eyed since this was my fave movie when i was a child me and my dad always watched it on weekends or when i felt down. And for this sequel I'm more then happy that we're both gonna watch this with my mom

Throughout the course of the Circum Pacific War, the Razgriz were responsible for more casualties among Yuktobanian and Belkan forces than any other unit in the ODF.
This is their story...
(Ace Combat 5, rescored in the style of Top Gun)
long life AC5
I had to feel bad for Chopper though. I had to go inverted during his cutscene...

Happy Birthday Tom & thank God those studio heads, finally, had the good sense to do a sequel to "' Top Gun'!! Too them way too long!! 🎥 💘
I was hoping this was coming! Thank you!
Top Gun is fabulous....When i heard that Top gun 2 is gonna be released right that time the thought passed through my mind that 2021 is gonna be fantastic for me. I did never become 100% satisfied on seeing any movie except Top gun. The saddest part of the movie is when Maverick's best friend Goose died. In a sentence I love Top gun Maverick our best actor Tom Cruise.
Me after watching and hear top gun and the anthem: "play top gun anthem everyday all night"
Cant wait..
Really great version ! Can't wait for the movie ✌🏼️
