Just found your channel while looking for crappie videos. Great video. I'm 66 and just getting into crappie fishing. Fishing in general. I retired in January and can't wait to get after them. Love your honesty.
Hello ! Crappie moment. I’m a 60 years old man and I’m a United States military marine veteran and I’m new to crappie and shells crawler and red ear and bluegills fishing. And I love watching your RUclips channel and please keep them crappies RUclips videos coming in 2024 please. I just got that ACC crappie stix green series 7’6” casting split grip spinning rod. Will you recommend me to use the panther Martin spinner 1/8 oz and the 1/16 oz and the rooster tails 1/8 oz and the 1/16 oz with that ACC crappie stix green series 7’6” casting split grip spinning rod . I will be doing nothing but casting from the bank. I love asking you questions because you’re going to be honest 🙏
@@timothythomas3820Very nice rod! Love mine! I have used the Panther Martin's and rooster tails from the bank and have had some success with them.... especially the smaller sizes for panfish. Great for that reaction bite! This is a great time of year where you can get away with throwing just about any type bait/jigs and have success. Thanks for watching!
Great advice brother!..it’s always twice the struggle when you go after a long spell of not fishing, everything from technical failures to that feeling of knowing what the fish are doing.
Another great video! Can you put the water temp back on your screen please? When I watch crappie fishing videos, I focus on the water temp, the depth of the water, the depth of the fish, and the type of structure the fish are relating to. I then look for similar situations on my own lake. Thanks
Hello ! Today is Tuesday October 15,2024 ! I was looking to get me a ACC crappie stix spinning rod . It’s two ACC crappie stix spinning rods that I’m looking at the 1. ACC crappie stix green series 7’6” casting split grip spinning rod. 2. ACC crappie stix 8 foot super grip mid seat spinning rod. Which one of them you would recommend me to buy please. I will be doing nothing but casting from the bank and I need a spinning rod that have a strong backbone. May the lord be in your heart today to answer my question and may the Lord continue to bless you and your family and your RUclips channel in 2024 please 🙏 ! I love the way that you teach about crappie fishing and I thank you for that for helping us to be a better crappie fishing 👍
@@timothythomas3820 I can only speak about the 7.5' split grip. I have 2 of them and they are great. Plenty of sensitivity and great backbone! Thanks for watching!

The hard truth about live scopes lol
Great content, I was wondering if while reeling in your bait at the time of the bite are you reacting to what you see or the thump.
@@kennethgriffith2374 Thanks! Reacting to what I feel... The thump! Use what I see to anticipate but I'm reacting to what I feel. 🎣🎣
What's the hard truth about catching crappie without $2,000 worth of electronics?
@@daviddaigrepont9485 With or without electronics, you still have to go fishing and spend time learning your body of water.
Are you using a plural carbon or mono leader
