Hope you’ve had a lovely Easter! Your thesis topic sounds fascinating! I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! I’m hoping to study classics at oxbridge in the future (I’m currently in Year 9 and have chosen to further study classics and Latin for GCSE (and hopefully A level) and am currently learning Classical Greek in my lunch time with my teacher), so your channel is a dream come true. You’re so inspiring and have motivated me to work even harder, especially in these difficult times. I was wondering if you had any advice for an aspiring oxbridge classics student, as well as if there were any particular classics books you would recommend (as I am slowly and surely clearing out my school’s classics section of the library). Xx

awee idk why but I just really really love this comment - I can tell that already you’re so passionate about classics and it’s just so lovely to see anyone passionate about anything❤️ good luck with your goal of studying classics at Oxbridge in the future! And good luck with GCSEs in 2 years time! I hated it, but I also weirdly enjoyed it? It’s far too complicated to explain😂 Btw as someone who will be applying to uni this autumn I wish I was so certain in what I wanted to do in y9, would’ve saved me a whole lotta stress now😅 x
