Philip, at 67 years old I've been a member and working with Obod these last few years. I completed the Bardic grade and having spent many Mondays in the grove with you at "Tea with a Druid" I feel I've come to know you as a mentor and a friend. I enrolled in the ovate course over 6 mouths ago but have been standing at the threshold. Now at this time of winter solstice and a new moon I've been seeking the inspiration of Awen to step through the gateway of the Ovates. Then, just taking a U-Tube break from my meditation the first site to open is you talking about "Singer, Shaman, Sage,? Seems serendipity has opened "The Path Ahead" for me and suddenly I feel ready to continue my Obod journey. Thank you for your wonderful presentation, it has inspired me! It is my hope we will meet in person someday until then, much love and deep peace to you. A fellow Bard, Sylvrbrynch

Thank you for this, Philip - a beautiful and thoughtful interlude in the middle of my Xmas prep.

Wow!😊This was such a deep experience, wisdom teachings, shamanic journeying, embodied transmission. "Such a wonderful thing."

How splendid it is as I enter a period of rest from work that this avenue back to the spiritual opens before me.

That chant at the end is among THE MOST powerful spiritual experiences I've ever had. My cats all came and joined me (one of them was concerned at first, lol). I caught the first name of the woman who led it, Carolyn? Didn't catch her last name, and I wondered if there is any more of the same or similar from her. Please. Just wow.

what do Druids think about the poisonous chemicals used by farmers to grow our foods? is that not polluting the land ?

I would say yes, it is polluting. I suppose then the task would be to ask of our brightest minds, "How can we protect our foodcrop in a way that works with and helps Nature, but aids us just as well, if not better, than what we use now?" And then set to work.
