I'm a 47 year old Christian woman and you are a role model for me. What you are doing is walking bold and courageous in the Lord. Walking in faith is not easy to do and your obedience will be rewarded. When you said God told to do it even though it caused you pain, it reminded me of when God told Abraham he must sacrifice his son Issac. That was so painful for Abraham the son he did not think he would have, born to him and his wife at an old age. But it was a test that God had for him to see if he could trust him. And yes, God did stop him. But God asked you to do this for a reason. The reason will be revealed. I am so proud of you and you have encouraged me. I will pray that your pain will ease away and that you keep on your path with God, being a light for us all. I woke up this morning from a dream I had of my mother who also passed away. I felt so good that I was able to see her. I walked right next to her, held her hand and sat next to her. I was truly happy to be near her. Alex, your pain has purpose. God LITERALLY used you to confirm a message I received from him JUST THIS MORNING. Just this morning I watched a video of Viola Davis talking about how she tells her daughter “you are the greatest love of your life”. She then went on to explain that that basically entails, sticking to your morals and not wavering in the boundaries you set and just having self respect. And you just said the EXACT same thing. Because of your obedience, God is going to bless you 10 fold! It’s not easy but God is going to do it. And finally loving you is just the beginning!! I thank God for using you as a vessel. As much as I love seeing you happy and unhinged, I also love seeing you’re raw authentic self even if that is when you’re sad, upset, or going through something, because we connect with you more. I have been following your journey since seeing you on Shawnaci's channel. While I am not religious by any means I do believe that you found books and this love for yourself right when you needed to. The one thing that people don't talk about when they discuss growth and protecting their peace is how hard and emotional that can be. You find out who does and does not need access to you, but you also find out showing up for yourself looks like. Some things just don’t work out. And that’s okay. I went through a nasty break up with a toxic man and I hated the world for it, but honestly the world has blessed me. I found a new job, I got myself a library card and my mom will keep up with my book addiction as well. I buy myself books too, but the world gave me the choice of saving money. And I never have to worry about buying a book and not liking it

Alex it’s going to be okay!! While I’m not 32 the last 4 years I have been in two relationships and never really got to be single! I was hurting too, God was telling me to not only let go of my relationship but my friendships too. I was so angry because I didn’t understand it but God blessed us with a season of singleness!! You get to find so much joy in His creation and fall in love with yourself more😊. God always has a reasoning for our pain!! He will bless us WHEN it is His timing. One thing I learned is God cannot put you in the future place He has for you because you are not ready yet!!! God sees and hears things that we cannot!
I wish that I could just hug you…I could share my story, let you know that you’re not alone, but I think it’s more of a comfort to have people just LISTEN. When my husband left, after 24 years & 3 kids, I was DEVASTATED. I had lives on my IG, broke down repeatedly…but in the end, it was God, & my therapist that really got me through! Oh my love I am so sorry for your pain. I'm not a woman of faith but your faith feels so so strong so you've got to hold onto that and stay strong in your convictions. This period of your life will feel hard (been there, done that - 4.5 years down the drain for someone who wasn't a bad man at all, just not the right one) but I promise you that it will get easier. Surround yourself with people who love you and day by day, the ache will lessen and the hole in your heart will fill. Some days you will be fine and other days you won't, but what is most important is that you wake up the next day and try again. If I was a praying woman I'd pray for you but I don't so I all I can do is send you my most absolute love and well wishes - you will get through this, we've got you ❤

Not going to lie I wish my heart was protected like that. I got screwed over so many times you wouldn't believe it. I've done nothing but forgave and forgave and forgave and loved and loved and Loved someone. there was a lot I tried to do but one way or another people kept on screwing me over, even the love of my life screwed me over! Now I'm at a point where I just really hate myself, but I do try to love myself, and I am trying to protect my own heart, at least what's left of it.. 😮💨 Not going to lie, you inspired me! I did a lot of work on myself and am so much better for it. We never fell out of love and are back together! Wow watching your faithfulness has encouraged and spurred me. I was reading Hebrews 11 this morning and it reminded me of what you're talking about. It gives example after example of His people who did hard things to remain faithful to what He called them to do. In verse 6 it says "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Your faithfulness pleases God and your reward is coming, sister♥️
Your vulnerability was so touching. What you shared reminded me of a similar journey I had to take when I was around your age. I called it my season of walking in the woods alone. I'm a 47 year old Christian woman and you are a role model for me. What you are doing is walking bold and courageous in the Lord. Walking in faith is not easy to do and your obedience will be rewarded.
When you said God told to do it even though it caused you pain, it reminded me of when God told Abraham he must sacrifice his son Issac. That was so painful for Abraham the son he did not think he would have, born to him and his wife at an old age. But it was a test that God had for him to see if he could trust him. And yes, God did stop him. But God asked you to do this for a reason. The reason will be revealed.
I am so proud of you and you have encouraged me. I will pray that your pain will ease away and that you keep on your path with God, being a light for us all.
I woke up this morning from a dream I had of my mother who also passed away. I felt so good that I was able to see her. I walked right next to her, held her hand and sat next to her. I was truly happy to be near her. So I completely understand how you felt to see and speak to your dad.

Alex, your pain has purpose. God LITERALLY used you to confirm a message I received from him JUST THIS MORNING. Just this morning I watched a video of Viola Davis talking about how she tells her daughter “you are the greatest love of your life”. She then went on to explain that that basically entails, sticking to your morals and not wavering in the boundaries you set and just having self respect. And you just said the EXACT same thing. Because of your obedience, God is going to bless you 10 fold! It’s not easy but God is going to do it. And finally loving you is just the beginning!! I thank God for using you as a vessel. As much as I love seeing you happy and unhinged, I also love seeing you’re raw authentic self even if that is when you’re sad, upset, or going through something, because we connect with you more. I also feel like you knew this was coming and you weren’t ready to let go until now. We saw you starting this as a caterpillar finally feeling a place of belonging, but now it’s time for you to come out of that cocoon and be that beautiful butterfly that you are who knows her self worth and knows what she can bring into this life and knows her potential. Dont know if this saying will bring you much comfort but it was a quote my grandad told me during my darkest days .. I have been following your journey since seeing you on Shawnaci's channel. While I am not religious by any means I do believe that you found books and this love for yourself right when you needed to. The one thing that people don't talk about when they discuss growth and protecting their peace is how hard and emotional that can be. Some things just don’t work out. And that’s okay. I went through a nasty break up with a toxic man and I hated the world for it, but honestly the world has blessed me. I found a new job, I got myself a library card and my mom will keep up with my book addiction as well. I buy myself books too, but the world gave me the choice of saving money. And I never have to worry about buying a book and not liking it

Alex it’s going to be okay!! While I’m not 32 the last 4 years I have been in two relationships and never really got to be single! I was hurting too, God was telling me to not only let go of my relationship but my friendships too. I was so angry because I didn’t understand it but God blessed us with a season of singleness!! You get to find so much joy in His creation and fall in love with yourself more😊. God always has a reasoning for our pain!! He will bless us WHEN it is His timing. One thing I learned is God cannot put you in the future place He has for you because you are not ready yet!!! God sees and hears things that we cannot!
I wish that I could just hug you…I could share my story, let you know that you’re not alone, but I think it’s more of a comfort to have people just LISTEN. When my husband left, after 24 years & 3 kids, I was DEVASTATED. I had lives on my IG, broke down repeatedly…but in the end, it was God, & my therapist that really got me through! I know it can be so hard and painful but I promise you, what God has planned is far better than what we try to plan. Oh my love I am so sorry for your pain. I'm not a woman of faith but your faith feels so so strong so you've got to hold onto that and stay strong in your convictions.
This period of your life will feel hard (been there, done that - 4.5 years down the drain for someone who wasn't a bad man at all, just not the right one) but I promise you that it will get easier. Surround yourself with people who love you and day by day, the ache will lessen and the hole in your heart will fill. Some days you will be fine and other days you won't, but what is most important is that you wake up the next day and try again.
If I was a praying woman I'd pray for you but I don't so I all I can do is send you my most absolute love and well wishes - you will get through this, we've got you ❤

Not going to lie I wish my heart was protected like that. I got screwed over so many times you wouldn't believe it. I've done nothing but forgave and forgave and forgave and loved and loved and Loved someone. there was a lot I tried to do but one way or another people kept on screwing me over, even the love of my life screwed me over! Now I'm at a point where I just really hate myself, but I do try to love myself, and I am trying to protect my own heart, at least what's left of it.. 😮💨

The title- things that scare us- I think the tears come from fear of the future, so it’s not the current decision, it’s not being sure yet of what will come, so faith will alleviate that fear. Wow watching your faithfulness has encouraged and spurred me. I was reading Hebrews 11 this morning and it reminded me of what you're talking about. It gives example after example of His people who did hard things to remain faithful to what He called them to do. In verse 6 it says "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."

Your vulnerability was so touching. What you shared reminded me of a similar journey I had to take when I was around your age. I called it my season of walking in the woods alone.
