I've been growing citrus in Paso for 16 years. Mine are all in pots. I've had to move them indoors on cold nights. When a cold year returns and it drops to 15F for several nights, you'll loose avocados and citrus. Citrus in Paso is a labor of love. Some years you'll be happy and others will be disappointing. Good luck.

Thank you for watching 🙏and for the info. We’ve been in West Paso Robles little over 10 years. The Myers lemon tree in the backyard and two other lemon trees on the side of the house is at least 20 years old, growing outdoor without protection. So far the Myers lemon trees survive all the freeze. I have to trim the lemon tree to keep it at certain height otherwise the lemon tree would’ve been three times that size. All of my avocado & lemon and lime, and key lime trees survived three days of snow without protection two years ago. Even newly planted five gallons avocado tree did not die from three days of snow. It did not even burn nothing burn from three days of snow. One of my previous video showed the snow of that year. Elevation where I’m at is 2000.

Thanks for watching 🙏 No bacon. Wild pigs are very lean. Not enough fat. The last one that I shot went to Nicora Winery. Nic the owner he is asking for two more to go on the BBQ. I am trying to figure out how to lure them out of the their hiding place.

@@TropicalGardenGuyThank you for watching, at the moment most of my mango tree I planted in the front of the house for more protection from the wind. I’m still have not decided if I should plant mango tree in the backyard or not. Undecided.
