I’m considering getting an sfi truck and taking it to jb hunt. How long there before sfi would let me move it to LS and what should I figure for total cost to move it?
JB Hunt is a good choice, they have a ton of contract freight. You can move the truck whenever you want, but the sooner you try to move it the more they’re going to charge you. It’s best to stay put for at least 6 months. To be honest, you’ll probably do better at JB in the long run because they have consistent contract freight. Thank you for watching
I believe a agent can back charge you if you cancel within a certain time frame, but in this scenario, I probably could have bounced & I would have if I would’ve found something else sooner.
@@stretchingmileswithstretch7227 i’ve been thinking about heading out that way. I’ve been seeing a few good loads on the Schneider board and the freight rate in California is really good if you want to run up and down the coast.
@@RPJohnson1968 The freight rates are generally better out there but you’re going to burn more fuel, in & out of the mountains, plus the fuel costs is usually higher too. I like going out there for a change of scenery once in awhile.
What’s wrong with your audio
I think it was the window being open versus being closed. Thank you for watching
Nice update, glad it all worked out for you. I would never go back to that shipper
Definitely going to avoid 30k lbs loads out of La Mirada. Thank you for watching
