So its lightning fast if you not exceed to write more than 170GB and give the drive enough time after that. If you write more than 170GB at once though the crucial x8 SSD falls flat on its face and will continue to write data at ~90 mb/s.
Where did you find the information about how much cache they have? Also is there a way to refresh the cache? For example transfer 150 GB and wait a minute so that you get the same speeds transfering another 150 GB.
