I owe a lot to Mickey, apart from going to see his classic gigs as Legend at The Cricketers (near Sarfend) back in the day, I was in his 'Die Grosse Mickey Jupp Band' the first professional outfit I was ever in. I went on to become a lead singer in the Doo-Wop/R'n'B band Darts. Mickey Jupp is so inspirational to so many musicians, still gigging with the wonderful Mo Witham, and still writing great songs. Thank you Mick.

The incredibly under-rated Mickey Jupp. The man's a genius! Amen
The British Chuck Berry. Brilliant singer, guitarist, pianist and most of all writer..
Just brilliant. Mickey is one of the greatest singer/songwriters alive.
An uncountable amount of artist owe their career to this extraordinary songwriter and singer, who is a real gentlemen.
Used to see him at The Hope & Anchor, Dublin Castle etc. Fantastic. Mo Witham guitar.
one of the fathers of Pub rock!
Great to see Micky Jupp and his great numbers getting some airplay again. Let's hope there are more clips out there waiting to be discovered.
And that's Tex Comer on the bass. The song " How Long" was written about him moonlighting with another band while in being in Ace.
Moonlighting with the Sutherland brothers and quiver I recall .
He was the UK’s version of The Tractors southern boogie.
fantastic, not a lot of MJ footage available, this is great ,many thanks
Brilliant. No one does british rock n'roll better.
It's differently a state of mind.
❤

very encouraging. if this really happened, then ANYTHING can happen: music that is made for listening and has no expiration date.
Always got that Jerry Lee thing going on.
