One Piece is an anime that is presented as a fairy tale about a boy who wants to see the world and find a legendary treasure. However, this is actually a story about a boy who grows up and turns into a man as he moves away from his home island, he learns that the world is a fucking dark place, he learns that before the eyes of an ordinary person everything is always rosy and beautiful, but if you take a closer look at the world around you, you will find a bunch of physically and psychologically injured people, death and horror, as well as people who control others and do terrible, cruel deeds.
ooooffff what an awesome comment! Love these that make me think in different ways! I'm only 63 episodes in as of this comment but I can already kind of see what you mean by this! can't imagine 1000 plus episodes in! Thank you so much for this!
@@rageofmccabe My point is that the art and character design in One Piece often distracts or "flattens" the context of what's happening on screen. The viewer is not always fully aware of the immorality, cruelty and vileness of what is happening. There are also things that have been confirmed by the author but not shown in the anime or manga (such as rape). In general, it often happens that in One Piece you are shown such things as cannibalism, experiments on children, slavery, genocides and war crimes, and even more specific things (suffocation torture by means of lung blockage by wax, burning alive, brainwashing, body horror and some more quite violent things). This anime is full of different colors, the design of the characters is very funny and looks like it was drawn by children with colorful pencils, and the main character is constantly cheerful and does all sorts of stupid things. Most anime with shocking content looks serious and grown-up, they don't have jokes or they are very dark. However, One Piece is not like that, it will show you a lot of jokes of all ages in every possible way, it will show you the most beautiful landscapes, present eccentric characters, and then shows you a scene in which the government sends a trained teenage agent to the captured city to liberate it, and this teenager kills pirates and the entire population of the city. This is how One Piece is.
@@olegtsvetkov2324 yeah notice how sometimes one piece characters just doesn't die. Unless that someone is really important to the main plot. But mostly they coloured one piece as a non-serious stuff which is the totally opposite of the reality lol
Most of these plots shown are in episode 300+ with the most tragic moments and flashbacks. There were many arcs mixed together. The breathtaking world of One Piece by Strawhat V is defenitely better suited as almost spoiler free view featureing the phenomenal landscapes. Explore with us the 170+ allied nations this world has us to offer. And over time the art gets better and better as well. There is a movie retelling the Arlong arc in high quality and high definition. Is has a few changes to the original story but is brilliant. But your next big event is the Alabasta arc and the route to it within the next 100 episodes.
Someday you will have to comeback to this and see how the lyrics lined up with certain characters. I had never seen this one before and the song is so good as well Good luck on your adventure!
It was me who recommended this. One Piece is really something different. It's the perfect example of "dont judge a book by it's cover" It probably gonna change your life. And I'm not kidding.
There are many stories in the One Piece world and you will know what the characters in Amv have found, with a wonderful behind the scenes story. 😁Cheering for you and waiting to watch
Of course you'll get confused what you are seeing is the farther episodes and you are just starting. You might got spoiled now since you saw those characters that you're not supposed to (lore wise). For now just don't ask what is what and who is who, just continue where you at, you'll get there don't worry. Also always stay alert for any information and characters because there are some episodes are pure information for future episodes.
Who and why? This video is nearly all spoilers without context. I wish people wouldn't do this.... Later when those scenes arise we will see him remembering a vague image from a catchy song, this is why we can't have nice things.
well i would say not see all this spoilers also you dont know nothing about them, then you dont understand nothing but are so many dramas of one piece the better you can do is not see this man xd
Let's just say, shit gets wild the further you go down the rabbit hole. Like others have said, the story is dark covered in sunshine, roses, and stunning visuals. But the closer you look, the more you realize just how horrible this world truly is. Once you finish the Dressrosa arc, you should def come back and check out this amv one more time.
