I remember the "to be hero" anime that's just random comedy genre and full of bathroom joke like Gintama.
This X version is the serious one.
it also has another sequel to be heroine. Was pretty emotional once you got past 3 eps

We already had a promising start with both japanese and chinese studios working on this project, the animation is fire, and now they stepped up their game to give us God Tier voice actors too ? this is going to be so good

This is definitely up there amongst the other few most anticipated releases of 25. The year already is going to be insane for anime in general but this one I have a feeling will be quite a special treat.

My hope is that To Be Hero X will have that brilliance in storytelling I’ve seen in other Donghua like Scissor Seven: Powerful emotional moments and lessons mixed in with some really good lighthearted humor. Looking forward to this!

Crunchyroll really is starting to bring together giant companies and names to make some pretty cool looking things.
Chinese title under chinese animation studios, but produced by both chinese and Japanese giants (bilibili + Aniplex) with famous Japanese VAs and the legendary Hiroyuki Sawano under an English licenser. And maybe it's not Crunchyroll bringing them together exactly, but animation certainly has been a catalyst in two rival countries making progress toward working together.

It looks interesting by presentations being a show about a bunch of Main Characters that have their own different anime Hero stories in the same world interacting with each other.
Each one having their own Plot, antagonists, group of friends, and some how these completely different Series ends up crossing over with each other.
Now the question remains, who will become the X.

I‘m really in love with Ishura. They are introducing one crazy strong character after the other and are doing some kind of battle royale in political wars.
There I love to see, how characters act when encountering other characters.
I‘m reading the Light Novel (7 Volumes for now) and there the pov of all characters are described and not only the pov of a protagonist
I actually thought these would all be separate stories in their own universes. The different art styles made me think that, but now I feel silly lol
Ironic you say this because in the Chinese version of this exact trailer on bilibili, it talks about how there is a tournament every other year where people's trust point and hero ranking is re-defined. And then it goes on introducing all 10 heros. Implying that there is an actual tournament battle in the storyline. Also, if you like tournament storyline, the creator of To Be Hero X (Li Haolin) already made a show called Ringing Fate. It is a good 3D donghua with good animation.
