It'll stick to it you just have to be patient with dust coats until you start getting some coverage then you can go with a little bit thicker coats. 5 coats minimum
I have a Yfz450. I started doing this to it. But I doesn’t take much for it to kind off I think. I’m worried after a day of riding how will I wash it? Scared it will peel off
It seems to have a good bond to the plastic so washing with a hose and sponge or something shouldn't be an issue. Where these coatings fail is from scratching them with sticks and crap.
Also the more coats the better. I've got 6 and 7 coats on my side mirrors on my truck and my front grille. And it's still looking good after a whole year of different seasons. It actually takes a beating
I've found it's best to continuously hold the spray trigger down, as you risk splatter each time you press the trigger
why dont you use a primer to help the peel coat to attach it??
I wanted the option of peeling it off in the future without damaging or discoloring the plastics.

Yeah it wants to run because you use no primer or maybe a light sand would have helped

White's Trash yea I agree. U can damn near rub it gently with your finger nail and it will show the true color of the plastic.

You need to shake that can more as you're painting
Does gasoline not dissolve that like it does PlastiDip?
I'm sure it does. I plan on using bed liner on the top of the tank, near the fill cap. Hopefully that's resistant to gasoline to some degree.
