On June 9, 2022, the Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration made a change to the Nova Scotia Experience Express Entry stream. With only a certain number of people they can move through their immigration programs each year. They know that people who have studied in Nova Scotia are more likely to stay in Nova Scotia. However, over the past two years, the Experience Express Entry program has received significantly more applications from graduates who studied out of province. With this latest change, they have chosen to focus the Experience Stream on Nova Scotia graduates.
So if u study in Nova Scotia, you will be eligible for Nova Scotia Experinece: express entry, after working after one year . That’s is the fastest way to get PR. If you study in Nova Scotia there are so many ways to get PR . So it’s good idea to study in Nova Scotia for atleast one year
@@jazraj thaxx for reply it means who are do continue 2years study there they are aligible for PR after completion of study and who with coming here one year they need to do get 1 year work experience
No there is not requirement to stay, if you are not able to settle there e.g. due to limited career opportunities, then you can move to another province if you wish. As a PR you have mobility rights so you can legally live anywhere in Canada.
This new employer-driven program builds on the success of the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program, which closed in 2021. Participants in the pilot program must reapply to use the permanent program. The Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration has temporarily paused the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) and the Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry (NSEEE) stream to NOC 62020 - food service supervisors. The following are currently not eligible: Under NSEEE, work experience with NOC 62020 Under AIP, job offers with NOC 62020 The following remain the same: Candidates using NOC 62020 can apply through the Skilled Worker Stream Businesses working in the food and hospitality sectors will continue to be able to use the Skilled Worker stream to recruit food service supervisors. Employers are also able to recruit food and beverage servers (NOC 65200) and food counter attendants, kitchen helpers and related support occupations (NOC 65201) through the Occupations in Demand (OiD) stream. If you need further assistance, please contact our office for help identifying the best option to recruit food service supervisors. Currently, transport truck drivers (NOC 73300) applications are not being accepted by Nova Scotia’s Atlantic Immigration Program. Transport trucking employers are encouraged to use the Nova Scotia Nominee Program’s Skilled Worker stream, Occupations in Demand stream or Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry.

Hi Tuhin.. I hope you are doing good. You need to find the same field job here under designated employer then your 8 months experience will count and u have to work only 4 months more and will be eligible for AIP.
Hlo both of u This is karan girdhar Currently i m in windsor studying at st clair college. This is my one year pg course and after that i m thinking to move nova scotia for my second course. Could you please tell me about the PR process if i study for one year in nova scotia Is there any international graduate stream. Please revert. Regards
AIP and PNP both are different. You can go by AIP or PNP skilled worker stream. For AIP your experience of Ontario can work but for PNP you have to work for one year in Nova Scotia. But for both you have to find the employer that can help you. For AIP concentrix helps the employee so you can try their.
Finally Came across relatable video and I feel confident. Thanks for this video. I have few concerns hope you could share your knowledge. I am currently In nova scotia Halifax have had six months full time experience as cashier. I am kinda lost now. Do I need designated employer related job to get PR through AIPP? How do i proceed? I am currently looking for another job. Please help me out in this.

It will be same for both…
Can you move to other provinces after obtaining a PR via AIPP program within a year? Or will it issue PR renewal or citizenship applications?
Yes you can...
👍👍
😊
Is there any requirement to saty for specified number of years in Atlantic province after getting PR
No there is not requirement to stay, if you are not able to settle there e.g. due to limited career opportunities, then you can move to another province if you wish. As a PR you have mobility rights so you can legally live anywhere in Canada.
Post Endorsement , pls suggest appx time lines for PR .
The timeline after post endorsement is 6 months..Also right now it depends on the backlog of the files..
