It just ran. 100, 115 and 124gr were no problem. A little polish here and there brought it to the next level of smooth. Tuned the spring a bit and I am just a hair under 3lbs from the factory 4.5ish. Worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY.
Fusion came out swinging with this. If they would come out with a 3.5 inch to compete with the staccato cs that would be wild. What I really dig is that they listened to the beta testers. A lot of users were reporting erratic shell ejection, fusion acknowledged the issue and fixed it. Whether it be sending it in or they will send you the parts. That alone is a big plus while other manufacturers wouldn’t have acknowledged it at all. I was gonna get a Springfield prodigy for my first 1911 DS but I’m gonna go ahead and order the xp pro.

Do your own research but you better offer with the loger barrel. Any day of the week.

Pretty slick rig. I am a platypus owner myself and absolutely love the thing. For an additional 500$ you get completely customizable rig. I would like to see how they would stack up against each other. Either way, glad to see things moving in this direction.

They've fixed the ejection pattern issue and they are going to be making a shorter slide stop already. They've already come out with holsters for it as well

@@LightSkinCapabilities what do you mean by duty use. If it’s for LE or security niether. IMO there is nothing wrong with striker fired gun for that role. A 2011 is a adanced pistol in its use. So for a first timer not the ideal duty gun. For matches I would say a 5” gun and I would strongly consider the prodigy for a first 2011 due to how well they run and the ability to upgrade the pistol. Can’t do that a lot with the Tisas to the app

I am sure a comp or ports are coming soon. I shot this gun at the range I felt it was kinda snappy compared to a platypus or the Apollo which are both American made. My one other issue is that co witness needs approvement imo. It not having mim parts and being under 1k for black one is a plus.
Edit I am seeing in the comments that platypus is made in turkey? Can anyone confirm this? I have shot it multiple times and I am about to buy my own but this may change my mind.
Check out the Live Free Armory Apollo 11 for a sub 1k 1911-2011. They are great shooting guns imo. If your looking for something a little more customizable take a look at the Stealth Arms Platypus. You can have it made however you design it and it has a metal lower not just the slide for around 2k. Both very awesome guns IMO.

May I please ask you 2 questions that require 3 measurements on the XP Pro. (1) What is the exact grip circumference - at the middle & widest part of the grip - in inches & percentage of final inch ? That requires a flexible tape measure wrapped around the grip to find out. Those should both be somewhere in the 5.50" - 6.00" area - but I'm hoping you can be as exact as possible. And (2) What is the exact length (in inches + percentage of final inch again) from the middle of the front of the trigger face to the back of the grip safety at its most indented point ? That should be somewhere in the 2.50" - 3.00" area. That will be, for me, EXTREMELY helpful in making it more or less likely that I purchase the XP Pro. same here, now i am more into the platypus because of it. i also suspect alot more of Fusion's guns are also made in Turkey, like some of their Shotguns! and then completed here. i hope this does not hold true for their Freedom line of 1911 pistols.

Yes, but Glock mags are extremely low capacity vs their size so I don’t see any benefit from cross compatibility in the mag department.

You will pay a little more for the alpha fox trot romulous but the finish alone being dlc is worth the difference
A plastic grip? Nah plus the XP Pro has Tennifer or tennifer and hard chrome which is more durable than dlc. It's not even close.
Plus, you still have to run expensive 2011 mags and not glock mags.
