It's awesome that you're enjoying the underrated beauty of AC. You opened up pandoras box lol. AC is still the best Simulator ever pound for pound with its visuals and car mods. The limitless variety of drivering disciplines can't be matched.
@alexkayracing I have over 2,000 cars and I can't count how many filters I have lol. I drift, do highway runs on Shutoko, drag race, Rally, Time attack, F1 and what your doing with the LMP cars, Phenomenal game.🤯
Hello Alex! Hope you are well. I have just a question. My specs are CPU i7-13700k, GPU RTX 4070ti super, RAM 32gb and 1tb HD SSD. I run AC with high settings unless the shadows, the reflections and the mirros which i have set at low. No issue at all when i play in solo, but as soon as i race with AI i have lags and fps drops mostly at the start. I have tried many tweeks, downgrade the CSP, no weather patch, no sol, no pure, Kunos tracks and cars....EVERYTHING! i can't get rid of this problem. Any suggestion!
How do we reduce the water spray from cars in front in rain? I always seem to get like a cloud of smoke that honestly is impossible to see through. I decreased smoke generation to a degree, but I was curious if there is another way as I would like to have smoke generation pumped rather high and not have it effect the water. Seems way too overboard on my end.

That’s weird it should work, what you can do man is did you see how I put those 4 jaro presets into the folder? You can do the same with the other folder inside that jaro download. If you get stuck with it let me know and I can show you on discord!

Tried updating from just using SOL and the PPF you have to using PURE instead of SOL, well, now I don't have the Dynamic Weather under the Drive and can't figure out why, any suggestions. I'm currently using CM - CSP 0.2.1 - preview2 and PURE 2.38. Seems like everytime I try to update to the "newest" from a RUclips channel the developer already has like 2 or 3 more newer ones out that never seem to work right. /sigh
Hi, thanks for the guide, but after going through the process and seemingly having everything installed correctly, no errors, the game looks nothing like yours, admittedly I'm using the latest pure, but the shaders look flat and not.much better than the standard game. Are you using a reshade on top? On a 4090 I'm getting 290fps, which maybe suggests the mods aren't taking somehow.
Hey mate thanks for watching! No I don’t use any reshade, I sometimes change my PP filter but that’s about it. You can try dragging up that saturation filter slider in the Pure in game app, that should make your image pop more. Only thing I would say is that my monitors have like a built in fake HDR mode that I use, but playing with your saturation filter silder in the pure in-game menu should achieve the same thing. Let me know how you go

Glad it could help you mate! Make sure you have pure selected as your weather condition in the content manager and then open the pure planner app in game!
@@dri6972 yep and when you set up a race on the quick race screen make sure the weather for the session is set to pure. Then when you’re in the session open the pure planner app from the sidebar and change the weather

But I have one question, when I setup a race, and select (pure) the icons on the left that have the wheel logo and stuff to start the race, don’t pop up. I got it looking siiiik. Almost real life. Just the reflections on the car are not all that. There very static and only move left to right. When you turn, and when setting weather to thunder the reflections are way too bright and alot more obvious that there just a poor implementation of screen space reflections.
Hay, I'm having a couple of issues with lighting and rain, the setting for them are on but the rain doesn't fall or land on the windows but makes sound and I'm not getting any sunrays through the cockpit? plus the game looks bleak with 120% saturation. If anyone could help that would be great (I have installed all the mods recommended and followed step by step)
@@DevonThomas-nv7el yeah it needs to be the “preview version”. Uninstall it, then install the latest preview version from the Patreon by dragging it into your Content Manager. Then don’t touch anything on that CSP version screen. That should fix it for you hopefully 👍
@@alexkayracing that’s where I couldn’t get it to show up, figured out the problem though I just needed to extract the pure folder to my desktop first. Ran the installer again and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the guide homie! Still need to mess around with the settings a little bit but I finally have that realistic look

Hey mate I don’t believe those thrustmaster wheels with the dash on them don’t don’t work with that many games. That wheel I’m using has a vocore screen which works with all sims as it takes the data from simhub
@@stoffeoscarsson6572 the wheel has a usb cable that plugs into the PC that powers the screen, Simhub is a free program on PC that takes all telemetry data etc. and conveys whatever info you want to the screen. @@alexkayracing all mods with shaders don't work. You can see only the shaders in the 2D screen, in the VR goggles don't, because is not implemented. Content Manager work, Sol , Rain , track humidity, mist, stars, improve look, sun rays, but the shaders don't. Even i erase the shaders because i don't use the 2D screen. But could be implemented in some way.
@@alexkayracing is sad that is not implemented, because in some way i want to put something whit more contrast and the cars with vivid color. Or something like more shadows, or everything looks like neon lights , i know this modes exist but can't be reproduce sadly. You can move the arms in VR and use the media screen if the car have one, but could be cool se that you can control all the car panel in VR. Even de shaders makes everything more new in Assetto Corsa. Beautiful Channel broo keep up with it 💪😎
@alexkayracing yes I do. I set that up last night along with the newest pure and the weather was working. (I only tested rain but it appeared to be working fine)

i belive i followed all the steps and yet when i change the wether to rain or heavy rain, i dont eve see rain alltogether, tho the road does look wet and is slippery. any reason why my rain doesent look nearly as good?
@@TheDragonSlayer2008 all good mate, no CSP is the custom shaders patch that you see in the video. You need the paid version of it to actually see the rain

I did everything you said however It keeps crashing and I get an error saying "assettocorsa\extenstion\internal\lua-module/module.luac:1: unexpected symbol near 'char(6)'closing pluginManager."
That’s very odd man I never had that happen to me, we need to try and figure out which part of the process it’s playing up on. Could you maybe start it from the beginning and then try to launch the game after doing each step? Then we can pinpoint what’s causing that issue 🙂
@@alexkayracing ok, so I have CSP 1.8.0 preview 442 working and it loads but the image is washed out, no sky(its black), and when I select pure or pure planner the windows open but there's nothing there to choose from, they have nothing to select.

I have the feeling too. But with CSP and Pure is currently very easy to have a super high quality really easy. I use KS_Nordschleife with 3D Trees and some Skins. The Winter Skin is just amazing (all from Racedepartment)...@@alexkayracing

Good question actually I’ve never tried that! Have a look at the Rain FX menu in content manager

colors in that spa clip at the end are way off. Desaturation does not equal realism. Vibrant colors exist in the real world
Watching it back, it looks good in cockpit view but the exterior shots are when it looks overly desaturated. Really weird.
I am using a new filter now that looks a lot better than this jaro reshare one. However this jaro reshade is still the best for the rainy weather.

The new PP filter I’ve been using makes it look really good in the clear day time too! It’s just not public yet

No issues running triple 1440p using RTX 3080 on Assetto Corsa??? I thought you need at least 3090 or 4080 to run triple 1440p decently.

Why doesn’t pure show up for me in content manager? I’ve ran every single uninstall and install file multiple times and it doesn’t show up

Found it. I followed your steps but decided to download a different filter “beautiful”. However, I can’t seem to get the “weather” drop down from the drive section to allow me toggle. Any idea what’s going on there?

Looks really good man, i have a question though... How do u get the laptime data to your wheel? i have a Sf1000 on a t300rs gt edition base but i cant get it to work, altough i do get some data but not laptimes :/
Hey mate I don’t believe those thrustmaster wheels with the dash on them don’t don’t work with that many games. That wheel I’m using has a vocore screen which works with all sims as it takes the data from simhub
@@alexkayracing im using telemetry tool from iko rein, what telemetry are u using? Via wifi?🙂
@@stoffeoscarsson6572 the wheel has a usb cable that plugs into the PC that powers the screen, Simhub is a free program on PC that takes all telemetry data etc. and conveys whatever info you want to the screen.
It’s not just built in wheel screens there’s also standalone ones too, you can see how it works here in this review I did:

The problem is that is this mods work in VR, shaders pach don't work, only in the screen and in the vr googles don't reproduce

@@alexkayracing all mods with shaders don't work.
You can see only the shaders in the 2D screen, in the VR goggles don't, because is not implemented.
Content Manager work, Sol , Rain , track humidity, mist, stars, improve look, sun rays, but the shaders don't. Even i erase the shaders because i don't use the 2D screen. But could be implemented in some way.

@@alexkayracing is sad that is not implemented, because in some way i want to put something whit more contrast and the cars with vivid color. Or something like more shadows, or everything looks like neon lights , i know this modes exist but can't be reproduce sadly. You can move the arms in VR and use the media screen if the car have one, but could be cool se that you can control all the car panel in VR. Even de shaders makes everything more new in Assetto Corsa.

I added the Jaro summit colors and now the weather stopped working. I have the sound of rain but no rain on screen.
Do you have the paid version of the CSP?
@alexkayracing yes I do. I set that up last night along with the newest pure and the weather was working. (I only tested rain but it appeared to be working fine)
@@joshlepley1306 that’s strange mate, did you try disabling the jaro filter and see if it brings the rain back?

i belive i followed all the steps and yet when i change the wether to rain or heavy rain, i dont eve see rain alltogether, tho the road does look wet and is slippery. any reason why my rain doesent look nearly as good?
That’s because you didn’t buy the paid version of CSP, purchase that and you will see the rain 👍

@@TheDragonSlayer2008 all good mate, no CSP is the custom shaders patch that you see in the video. You need the paid version of it to actually see the rain
@@alexkayracing ohh, but i did pay to support there patreon. is it just the version i downloaded? (some of the mods i downloaded may have not all been the one's you did in the video bc they were newer)
(i do want to add i have the lite version of CM wich is the only thing i didnt pay for in the video but not sure if that affects the mods or graphics)

I did everything you said however It keeps crashing and I get an error saying "assettocorsa\extenstion\internal\lua-module/module.luac:1: unexpected symbol near 'char(6)'closing pluginManager."
That’s very odd man I never had that happen to me, we need to try and figure out which part of the process it’s playing up on. Could you maybe start it from the beginning and then try to launch the game after doing each step?
Then we can pinpoint what’s causing that issue 🙂

@@alexkayracing ok, so I have CSP 1.8.0 preview 442 working and it loads but the image is washed out, no sky(its black), and when I select pure or pure planner the windows open but there's nothing there to choose from, they have nothing to select.

The PP-Filter is new for me - i will try it - currently I am using standard pure and this is arleady great!
How many FPS you run on your triples?
Yeah the pp filter makes it look more like a film or photo colour it’s really good! I am getting about 80fps in a race and 100 fps in practice
@@alexkayracing thanks a lot. will test it. Have quite similar pc specs. Normally I run quite stable 120 fps. Without Extra Fx... and some drops during race starts... For sure this depends on the 1 Mio. settings in CSP 😂

I have the feeling too. But with CSP and Pure is currently very easy to have a super high quality really easy.
I use KS_Nordschleife with 3D Trees and some Skins. The Winter Skin is just amazing (all from Racedepartment)...@@alexkayracing
