I had broken belts, diagnosed by your video, accessed them, ordered a new belt on Amazon for 5.00, got in one day, watched the rest of your video and placed all broken belts and cleaned machine! I have a brand new machine and thanks to you my husband have clean carpet and I won’t have to get divorced!!! Hahah we live on a farm and it can be quite messy at times’ thank you is not enough

The belt geared belt that goes directly to the brushes is slipping.. or clunking as it’s hopping off the gears even after replacing it with a genuine bissel belt. It’s to lose and I don’t see a way to tighten it.
Mine too. Just replaced with a new belt. Still doing it. Crappy design

I had the 1 inch long belt guide that is attached to the large cover fail. End of belt. Ebay to the rescue for a new cover.
This is a great video. However I’m still having a few issues. My belts appear fine but the machine makes a very loud noise and smells like something is burning??? Could it be I need to replace the belts?

Check your plug first. Not sure I could make a video that can specifically help you because power issues can be many different things.
My sisters machine has an ceased shaft the one with the red pully. cant quite see how to remover it.

I replaced my belts and it looks exactly like yours but it smells like burning rubber. When I check it after running it for a few minutes the main belt is hot but it doesn't look like it's rubbing on anything or show any wear. Any suggestions?
Check your bearings to make sure they aren’t bound up.

Hi! So the main belt broke on mine. Got the new one. And have it put together but when I try to make it turn it doesn’t turn the other brushes. It also smells and smokes horrible when I turn it on. Idk what else it could be

So I've done everything you've done, but it seems that the gear is jammed and will not even do one full spin. Any idea?
You may have a seized pump.
Replaced stretch belt, turned on the machine, it started smoking.
Checked the stretch belt, and it had slipped off the pink/red pully so the rubber was burning on the shaft.
Any idea what caused this?
Something was jammed. Either the brushes or the pulley. When you installed the belt did you rotate it to ensure it centered onto the pink pulley before turning on?
@richardsvacuumcenter the shaft was rotating, but the pink pully wasn't.
Second go, centred, got the pink pully rotating this time. Turned on brushes spinning, etc. Then, it started to smoke a tiny bit, checked, and the belt had snapped off this time.
Wht do I do if the rollers are not turning anymore? How do I fix it?

I just took mine apart to clean it and when I put the brushes back in that I put the belt on.. when you roll the brushes to check and see if the belts are in.. the one belt sort of clicks... like when you roll the brushes by hand it feels like the belt slips for a second and it ckicks... is it supposed to do that?

@@richardsvacuumcenterin your video it does it too. Right after you reinstall it it makes one click.

No just slide the gear brush off the pulley in that case
