Love these reminiscing moments. The box cutter brawl Brian recounts in the least violent part of the song is as funny and it is scary but resonates. My band back in 1970 was playing “Get Together” a lilting ballad cover from The Youngbloods. Just at the bridge, where I sang: “Come on people now, smile on your brother, everybody try to love one another right now…🎶” A fight broke out on the dance floor not an arms length from me. Two Hells Angels on two hippies dropping people left and right!! 😂 We had to stop playing, I’m pleading, “Geez people, calm down, you’re fighting during this song?!”
