Wowwowwow, what a great video! There was a lot to learn: sewing leather, shaping leather with water, setting snaps. An impressive craft and a great inspirational channel. Greetings from Germany.
Appreciate the kind words and indeed there were lots of different skills shown in this video that will hopefully give people different options on how to approach this project ~Peace~
Like the stitch and wrap, done that with an axe sheath, going to make some for some of my hooks.
oh nice, yeh it makes the whole thing a lot more resilient and long lasting ~Peace~
Great video. I just got a new spoon knife and want to make a cover to protect the blade. Thank you for sharing!
Thats awesome to hear Erin, wishing you the best and thank you for watching ~Peace~
Nothing is more "hard core" than a sheath for a spoon!
I keep my spoons in an underground vault. 😁
@@talkin-ape Right on!👍🏽

I got a Spoon sheath, made by Amy from Stonesfield
Thanks
Thank you kindly ~Peace~
great video, does being in the leather make the metal sweat and rust
Hi Mike, when the leather is freshly made into a sheath then yes you have to be careful storing your tools in there, otherwise you're generally ok. None the less it's always a good idea to coat your metal in something like Camelia oil ~Peace~
Yesss!
My man, thank you Kevin ~Peace~
My father grew up in Stonesfield 😃 small world
No way! small world indeed and a beautiful part of the country ~Peace~
