Man that's some good flesh work. Great job. God bless. From Glenn CATT in Massachusetts. That one part of basket weave over the line. Oops then you covered it . Fixed the mistake. Great job. Great video. Keep up the great work.
Another great work. I like working with leather too but I'm not remotely that good. What is the white stuff you put on the edges before burnishing? Thank you for the video and your time.
Your work is very nice. Just getting started, myself. Leather crafting was suggested to me as a hobby and diversion from a technology-heavy career (5-axis machine tool programming), and a creative outlet. I'm kind of intimidated, to be honest, isn't that funny, lol! How long would a project like this take an experienced person like yourself, if I may? Thank you for the video, very inspiring!
Thanks for the kind words. I also was very intimidated when I started (not having a clue what I was doing) but you have to just start off small and get 1% better with each project. If I had to start and complete that knife case in one session without stopping I would say it would take anywhere from 3 to 4 hours.
@@KingdomGloryLeather sir, where do you aquire your stamps from and which pattern / styles would you recommend starting with? Is there like a starter set or are they bought individually? mmm so many questions!
Very nice work, also a very pleasant video to watch. I assume the tape on the fleshside is there to prevent the leather from stretching during tooling, what kind of tape is that, i've never seen that before?
Very excellent gentleman, your art But how do you calculate the template so that the knife fits exactly without first molding the leather? I am from Barranquilla Colombia. (I'm using google translator)
Awesome video! Do you apply any sort of resist coating before applying your antiquing, or just buff the excess dye off then apply your antiquing? It's my first time using an antique finish and I love how yours turned out! Keep up the great videos!
Do you make them without the cross stamp please? I am an atheist and am unconvinced by the claims of the supernatural world and so would not want that stamp. However, it's a good looking slip.

How did you design your template curves? What’s the best way to get this shape in a template?
I would you a drafting program to make the curves perfect.
I really admire your work and curious to know where you get your tools from. I have never seen a cutting knife like that. --Thx.
Thank you very much!
I normally just get my tools online. eBay, Amazon, etc

Thank you. Yes you are correct, it is to prevent the leather from deforming. It is heavy duty packing tape.
Beautiful slip, makes my duct tape and cloth lacrosse tape slip look like junk. Mine does work very well though.
Thank you very much!
Muy buena 👍👍👍

Thank you very much. I would recommend making a few test pieces with scrap leather in order to figure out the perfect fit for your particular knife.

Thank you. No I don’t usually use any resist before applying the antique finish. I like the look it gives.
@@KingdomGloryLeather Awesome, I'll give it a shot!
What's the thickness of the leather you're using?
I believe the leather thickness was around 1.5mm and the interior liner was around 1mm thick. So about 2.5mm total.
Isn’t a pocket a slipcase for a pocket knife? Lol love the leather work good job
Thank you very much!
By chance, do you sell any?
Sorry no, it’s just a hobby.
@@KingdomGloryLeather excellent work! If you do decide to sell some, please let me know!
Great job. YHWH blessed you with such a great talent. Why the tape on the back? Keep up the beautiful work. YHWH bless you.
Thanks. The tape helps keeps the leather from stretching while tooling.
