Most underrated set out there imo. Prices of the 1991 UNC and Proof sets are sure to continue to climb. Plus the Rams Head 50c is my favourite. Lots of coins were taken out of this to make sets and to even be graded. I think if you can get them at a reasonable price it’ll be well worth having

The Rams head is a fantastic design - that's why I bought the 'masterpieces in silver' celebrating it.

The Ram's head is a favourite of mine as well.

I found a mint grade 50 cent coin noodling. It had a couple of small light scratches. It would have to be my favourite. Thanks PJ

Thought I’d just re-integrate on my previous comment.
One of the biggest hurdles I’m having/had when collecting some sets like this and UNC cared coins, Ram Mint sets is how best to store them, Do I just put them in a box? And hope they didn’t become damaged over the years can I display the cared coins in an album? what coin brands have a universal size type and are universally safe for archiving My entire collection what coin capsules sizes, sleeves sizes types and coin roll tube sizes.
As much as I look online I find it difficult to find the answers to some of these questions, So for anyone reading this I hope this helps.
      Coin Capsule sizes,
      1 Cents 18mm, 2 C 22mm, 5 C 19.5, 10 C 24mm, 20 C 29mm, 50 C 32.5mm, $1 25mm, $2 21mm
Ram Mint set sleeves, from Lighthouse 187x125mm No. 326013
Noting there is a number of sleeved size’s for this brand and I’m still look for the correct sizes but I do use a vacuum sealer for larger Mint Sets, if I don’t have the correct size, have also been looking at the brand (Ultra pro) but yet to purchase any of their soft sleeves.
Coin Roll tube sizes/brands, Numis and Guardhouse,
50 Cents 33mm, $2 22mm haven’t been able to find a brand for universal set up yet for the rest of my decimal coin rolls.
If you wanted to setup your coin collection with Lighthouse square Quadrum capsules the following albums are Grand and Grand Giant
      Sizes,
      1 Cents 18mm, 2 Cent 22mm, 5 Cent 20mm, 10 Cent 24mm, 20 Cent 29mm, 50 Cent 32mm you can use 33mm $1 25mm, $2 21mm,
      Threepence 16mm, Sixpence 19mm, Shilling 24mm, Florin 29mm, Halfpenny 26mm, Penny 31mm.
Nothing their is two types of square quadrum capsules your normal and Quadrum Intercept,
      Sleeve are Encap Q52 No. 344 429 hold 20,
For PNC I use Grande 2 S sleeves No. 324 690 it holds four two front two back and has a black back ground
For PCGS graded notes, sleeves Grande 2 C No. 336 439, 2 front Clear and I use a black divide between sleeves, ZWL No. 331 602,
For Slabs, Encap Slab No. 320 310 holds 6.
For storage coin boxes, Lighthouse Intercept L180 Box
A little expensive these are though but better than using shoeboxes to store your coins in.
For storing all My coin supplies I use Comic book boxes I find they fit well in My bookcases
and you can actually get printed Marvel Boxes that looks great or just go for the plain cardboard box type
I hope this helps anyone with their collection

1991 was the ONLY year without circulation for the $2. That's another main reason for why I got the set.

I personally think at the moment all mint sets are under valued , really when you think about it your getting immaculate looking coins and well packaged to keep them safe and also very easy to look and admire them , sooner or later they will all sky rocket in price , I collect and trade in a lot of coins but mint sets are my personal preference as my personal keepers
Well done Peter on another great video - cheers Darren Cutajar

Anywhere in Melbourne where people meet or any forums to swap coins? I've got a few $1 changeover, an 81 2c no SD and a few others I wouldn't mind trading for what I need.
