    I am continuing to enjoy watching your uploads Mr & Mrs Anthony. I find them inspiring & it certainly adds to the enjoyment watching natives really enjoying sharing some of the best their beloved country has to offer. I have lived half my 53 years in North Wales and will remove here till I kick the bucket. It is an outstanding country, with so much beauty compressed into a relatively small landmass.
    Anyway, thanks for your entertainment.

    I did this walk in reverse only a couple of weeks ago and it was great seeing it again through somebody else's eyes. The Welsh pronunciation certainly helped too as i got it completely wrong. Thanks.

    What an absolutely brilliant choice of walk. I did it from Llanuwchllyn many years ago, returning via Cywarch. No selfie queues, just astonishing scenery. Well done!

    That sure was an epic walk. We stayed at Dolgellau some years ago but didn't know that walk was there. Not often you get to look down on top of a helicopter. Amazing area all around there, absolutely love it. Keep safe, Mike.

    Hi, the car park where you started, is it small? You went on a Saturday, was it busy or quiet as this area is quite remote? I want to go but worry about no parking space as I travel very far and won’t be there till mid morning. Is there an alternative place to park as a back up plan.

    • @mandyanthonyepicwalkswales7974
      @mandyanthonyepicwalkswales7974  2 года назад

      Hi Alex, this place has always been quiet and there has always been plenty of room for around 15 cars in the free car park even on weekends and bank holidays, the flimsy gate at the entrance is always open so never worry how late you come back off the mountain, there is a portaloo at the free car park, yes there is also plenty of backup space about 500 meters on a long common ground patch before the car park. Copy & paste the following Lat/Long as seen in Google maps under satellite mode view then click on the road to view the grass verge:
      N52.748044 W3.697383
      You can also type in the car park Lat/Long to a Sat Nav under the Lat/Long option:
      N52.754917 W3.701492

    Hi Anthony, forgot to ask you, did you go clockwise or anti clockwise?

    • @mandyanthonyepicwalkswales7974
      @mandyanthonyepicwalkswales7974  2 года назад

      Hi Alex, we turned right out of car park then 50 meters down road left over river bridge and path went in a north east fashion then swung back round west along the ridge to a cairn then head north to the aran over rocky ground to trig point, i guess that is anti clockwise in a fashion, another route is to turn left out of the car park up the road to a path on the right and direct up the steep crag valley which is a shorter route but can be wet and boggy at the very top of the valley, many do go this way and come back down the way we went up as a circular walk in a clockwise fashion, you can go either way just a matter of individual choice, do take waterproof walking boots, you cant go wrong paths are obvious no map required but very important to check for dry weather and good visibility before you go, good luck.
