OG lions claw is safer pick in my opinion. Maybe its just me but I find the savage lions claw to miss a lot on the follow up, I think its better on enemies/bosses that does not have a lot of poise.

Savage Lion's Claw was buffed today; wonder if it will actually be worth taking know over the original Lion's Claw? It wasn't before due to how unreliable the follow up attacks were, but now with a buffed first hit (damage and poise) maybe that's pushes it across the finish line.

yup, but you have to pull the L2 a second time to get the second swing of the Savage variant.
