How to: derust with tank cure and cover the tank with carbon (with vacuum!) - Yamaha XS750 tank

What a cool result! We have been working on the tank recently and with good results. We provided the tank with a Tankcure treatment on the inside and carbon on the outside. After this we sprayed stripes and coated the tank with 2K clear lacquer to make everything shine super sleek. In this video we used a vacuum bag to tightly cover all edges of the tank with carbon, definitely recommended. Klasse werk aan die 3 cilinder Yamaha, en ikzelf heb het deze Zomer ook met de tank van mijn Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans 2 gedaan, en van binnen ook met een slang een hele middag gepareld, de onderzijde met 2K matzwart en matte vernis 2k en aankomende Zomer de bovenkant spuiten met witte en zwarte lak en vernis laag 2K!

Dat klinkt ook goed! De 2k lak heeft bij ons ook een strak resultaat opgeleverd. Heb jij nog voorkeur voor een merk lak?
