The second spot is exactly what I’ve been looking for!! A perfect junky/cluttered camp spot location with a rust-punk vibe. I also love the location by Top of the World! Thank you!
Nice spots, i really enjoy building in pre-existing structures. The shack south east from Crater (where the flight recorder can be found), the overview platform straight north of the ammo factory and the little trailer on the other side of the bridge you showed at the Nuka Cola Plant on top of the little cliff are great raider themed spots as well.
The raider house near ash heap ironhound doesnt always have raiders. Sometimes its an all out war between scorched and robots, sometimes just basic settlers. If you're lucky you'll encounter some raiders every once in a while. But expect to be attacked every time you join.
Too funny! I just finished a camp at the Appalachian Train Yard spot you mention. It's pretty great. Three Raiders, free stuff and the spot is really forgiving when it comes to placing items...plus I have yet to be attacked. I built Lola's bar and grill on the hilltop, too. It's funny to watch low levels and those not friendly with Raiders stroll into combat. Thanks for the vid...Raider camps are becoming my fave to build so this helps!
You can also build on Bolton greens which has loads of spikey bits. Added bonus that your turrets will take care of the enemies during the Distinguished guests quests.
There’s another great Raider spot just NE of Crater on a cliff. Has a tinkers bench, cook station and a Raider power armor spawn. Also the only place to get the flight recorder junk item. Place your camp module to the E-NE to get it to go green. Also, I absolutely love the windmill NW of Top of the World!! my favorite raider spot is ohio river adventures. You can build so close, your camp and their docks combine. Use to have them come sit in my camp. Plus they are can't be killed. Down side is they shoot anyone not allied with the raiders, that try to buy things from your camp.
I had no idea you could build that close there! I have a camp at the monorail structure out in the Divide that has two Raider NPCs, and I always know when a newer player arrives to shop because of all the gunfire 🤣
@@kikibplays lol i didn't know they was shooting new players, till one day a lvl 3 teleported to my camp. When the settlers and raiders update was release, the raiders was super friendly with me, right out the gate. They also help me in the wasteland.

I had a raider camp (still do) location that had 4 raiders in but they eventual updated it where they are all corpses now 😢

There definitely npcs in the second area on top of the world, I build there often and the npcs can be random from enemies to friendlies
I've seen a Brotherhood patrol there once and aliens another time, but never Raiders.
@@kikibplays I've had raiders, supermutants and molerats(the least I seen) spawn at my camp there but it's randomn and sometimes nothing.
