The game was never good in the first place. All they’re doing right now is adding insult to injury, just like they’ve done for like the past 2-3 CODs.

I think it’s because there’s this weird symbiotic relationship with games and social media, streaming etc, so to get attention they need to grab it by being gaudy
Exactly why I stopped playing cod. Arma, Insurgency, Hell let loose, Squad etc. are all I play now.
Imagine having to put down an ammo box during a multiplayer match.

It's a shame. When MW first released IW clearly wanted to take COD in a new more realistic, tactical direction. Theb they got pressured by the powers that be and the community
@@MilizeSache Nah when MW first releases the multiplayer was more tactical than its ever been. They even removed the minimap to make it more hardcore but too many people complained it wasn't enough like traditional Cod so they folded and started changing.

This will be the plight of games that have an online component.
That's why I'm very worried about GTA 6.
The chopper gunner is actually pretty easy to shoot down, takes one magazine from each one of the enemy team, but they all have to shoot it together to bring it down easily.
An entire team coordinating in a match? Impossible.

Whenever I hear a chopper gunner coming I ask the team over the mic to shoot it
Sometimes we shoot it down in 5 seconds, sometimes my teammates don't seem to care about the chopper gunner raining bullets on them
But you seem to be one of these guys that don't use their mic though they have one 🫢

I'm tired of this game not being somewhat grounded like when MW2019 first launched. It's evolved to something I have no interest in.
Yup, Can't even play a casual shooter anymore because they're monetized to death with skins/battle passes/other nonsense. The success of Fortnight and its business model ruined casual shooters.

@@arnerademacker Call of Duty is (up until recently) and allways has been an arcade-shooter only in reference to its game mechanics and rewarding-style. When it comes to the guns, the equipment and the atmosphere, call of duty has in the past always seeked to keep it atleast quasi-realistic.
Recently (in particular with Warzone 2) the Devs have been leaning more and more into realism (I'm referring to game mechanics) and forgetting the arcade blueprint of past games.
All of this aside, a game being arcade-y doesn't necessitate that it becomes a goofy looking circuis (may the fortnite players hear my thunder roll!) In a game of this specification, it just feels goofy when your running around with a weapon of war, shooting on a map that's got fighter jets rumbling over it and you realise that the guy you just killed is a rat-headed, Burger-King-shirt-sporting operator with the rest of its gear built to actual firefight standards.
Conculsion: the "CoD is an arcade game" doesn't justify it becoming fortnite.

I feel like the footsteps are really hit and miss. Sometimes I hear them, sometimes I don’t hear a thing.
Well, there is Dead Silence to remove them so it could be that sometimes
Theyve admitted that the audio occlusion is fucking dogshit. The game engine gets confused when layering sounds and it gets buffered poorly

Ranked play has nothing to do with skill at all. If it's anything like the ranked multiplayer, then it's simply based on who has the most time to play 😂.

I don't know about you, but I really hates how IMMERSION became the least important thing when it comes to modern shooters.
I mean, you put all this effort to make such good graphics and smooth gameplay to screw it up with ridiculous characters and weapons skins.
