45 hours in a train is indeed tough to handle for someone who is not a vlogger.
Instead of starting from Delhi, they could have flagged the train off from Kolkata or any nearby city. Not all places in India can be easily accessed from Delhi. This could be a suggestion for IR for the next Bharat Gaurav trains.
This long travel time would put off many passengers from this trip in the long terms

Guwahati Rajdhani takes about 36 hours....why would this train take longer? I agree with some other comments....the NE tour should originate from Kolkata...
