A fresh review of neo-psychedelic Britpoppers Kula Shakers' return with their original line-up. Is the old "magick" still in place?

The album is definitely a return to form, great review!
Thanks a lot 🤟
Thank you for introducing kula shaker I will definitely check them out
Cool. Thanks for watching 🙂
Sweet! Welcome new fan ;) Of any era of the band.
Thank you so much ☺️
Cheers. You're welcome.
It seems that SFA sans-Gruff are now releasing material as Das Koolies, so a new SFA album seems unlikely.
Please keep doing your “Boring Dad Thing”.
All the best
A fellow boring Dad.
Oh, that's helpful information. Haven't heard of Das Koolies. Cheers!
Except for the part about Whistle and I Will Come, very agree with you.
Here's my apportation for the algorythm.
😄 very much appreciated. Cheers.
Sounds very cool. Never heard of them but the samples sound like bangers. Defiantly will look out for this band. Have you heard of Elephant Stone? Some great Indian/rock psych.
Thanks. Kula Shaker were the "hippies" of the britpop craze. You can hear their influences on almost every track, which critics sometimes call derivative, I think it's fun.
Will check out Elephant Stone.
I really loved "K" when it came out in 1996; nice review, will listen to the new one as soon as i can. hare krsna
Thanks 🙂 it's a nice, feel-good album, if you like the Kula Shaker sound.
Vary interesting.
Keep up the good work ❤
Thank you 🙂
On an interview with Kirsty Baird, Crispian said he just found a woman who sang in a choir around the corner when Norah Jones and Chrissy Hynde were not available. And the Scorpions are still cool-their early stuff man! :D
But Kula decided to go introverted, folky after '99 esp. after dealing with the big bad music biz that year.
That's a great anecdote 😄 must be a great choir!
