    THANK YOU!
    Seriously I am thinking of making it myself what you depicted here.
    This makes so much sense - I am looking into front / rear stand for my motorcycle (weights ~850lbs) and some of good quality run into ~$600-700 plus (excluding shipping)

    Nice but my question is about fat boy’s ground clearance? It Is only 5in from ground and you use 3 pieces 2in each?
    Thanks anyway for sharing

      I forgot the numbers but I had to cut the wood narrower because it was too wide. You know, Bike just need to be few inches in the air

      Dimensional lumber (like what you’d get at Home Depot, etc) 2x8 is actually 1.5” x 7.25”, so three of them stacked like that would only be 4 1/2”.

      @namoothewoodprojects  Год назад

      I think it was 2x8 and I had to cut it a bit narrower like 6.5” or something like that. And nope I didn’t use planer to make it thinner

      @@namoothewoodprojectsMy bad! I did the math wrong, the three 1.5” flats stacked would only be 4.5” total, the width only matters for how high you want it lifted after you rotate the stand. I edited my above comment for correct dimensions.

      I haven’t removed wheels but I think you’ll need more clearance to do the job
