There are space suits in Starfield, so maybe that should be the *next* build? At some point Adam Savage is going to have (if he doesn't already) the largest collection of space suit replicas/props in the world... and to be fair that's a great life goal.
This is like that dream crossover that I never expected to ever happen. This will probably be my favorite promotional piece for Starfield ever. Love your work, and keep it up.
Unless Bethesda releases them, I'm betting the STLs they made for this will remain private. Likely something that was covered in the contract they signed.
Just wait fo the game to release and export the files with the usual mod tools. Have to clean up for printing yourself though. Or check all the 3D printing sites. Eventually someone is gonna release something similar.
Allways amazes me when 3D artist/modelers break down a model into its texture maps, a skill I haven't learned to do well yet (except on boxes :)) totally awesome!
It's very informative for me to see how a model is designed. Many times in my life, I tried to put models together and I had to stop and ask myself "what the hell were they thinking?" Now, I see just how difficult it is to calculate and create every little part. This was before 3D printing. I envy you all. Thank you for doing this for us to watch. I think that watching you is easier than doing it myself. I love work; I can sit and watch you for hours! 👍
I feel SO validated seeing the double-wash of the 3d prints! Been doing the same for as long as I've been printing and have been asked a fair few times why the double-dip method... It get SUCH a cleaner end result!!
Starfield is my dream come true sci-fi RPG. I can't believe a game like this is being made. I really hope it's good, from everything i've seen, I don't believe i'm going to be disappointed by Starfield. It's always a huge possibility with games this ambitious. I don't think there has ever been a collab I have loved more! My favorite game studio and my favorite team of makers working together is truly a dream come true. I know I'm going to watch all of these videos several times to better understand the thought process from visual to practical!
I remember watching Junkyard Wars and Adam, Jamie and the crew back to back and have to say this is terribly nice. I am stunned by the technical expertise of this group and LOVE seeing Adam in his element after so many years. THANK YOU ADAM, this is great ....almost better than playing the damn game!
"Lived in, loved on, and just a little bit hurt" This is so poetic. I'm going to be using this :) Removing supports from my prints is almost as satisfying as removing the masking tape from my paintings
In the late 70s~early 80s, I was just a kid who loved building models... I scavenged odd parts and plastic, like my Mom's L'eggs containers (which helped me scratch build feet for an AT-ST Walker), or modifying other kits (1/12th scale F-1 racing figure became a Rebel Pilot for my 1/12th scale scratch built Snow Speeder). I wanted to vacuform so badly... I would have KILLED for the equipment available today. Now I have 5 FDM printers, a resin printer, a smaller vacuform, and the computing power to create new things and make them real. AS an adult, it seems like I never have the time to do much, though... I'm looking forward to seeing this ship come to life.

@@tested 100 percent, Sean did the Yeoman's work on the 3d file, printing and connection details. I can't wait to see how the lighting goes and how Kate weaves her magic, I loved her bladerunner blimp paint and decal job 😍!!
I am so happy Adam started a YT channel, always brings me joy to see Adam work on things. The satisfaction he gets out of the little things is very fun to witness. P.S. The tested team is definitely not to be forgotten, didn't want to make it feel like the YT is only Adam.
I love watching Adam brag to camera and then brag to his friends about the same thing when he really nails something he's proud of. So happy! So much enthusiasm! Thanks for the video :)
Now Adam should make his own ship in starfield once it releases! Super hyped for this game
The perfect collab
There are space suits in Starfield, so maybe that should be the *next* build?
At some point Adam Savage is going to have (if he doesn't already) the largest collection of space suit replicas/props in the world... and to be fair that's a great life goal.
@@geoffreychadwick9229 Oh, believe us when we saw Adam REALLY WANTS to make a spacesuit from Starfield!
This is like that dream crossover that I never expected to ever happen. This will probably be my favorite promotional piece for Starfield ever.
Love your work, and keep it up.
One of the best videos in Tested history. Didn’t want it to end! Can’t wait to see more of the work on this model.
One of my favourite videos produced by you guys so far! Looking forward to watching the rest! Thanks for sharing!
I love this new approach, a commission build…… real work…. THIS IS A GREAT NEW FORMAT FOR THE CHANNEL. WELL DONE ADAM AND THE TEAM
More videos like this. I love seeing the whole process from design/concept to finished piece. Awesome work.
12 seconds into this video and I am nerding out so hard on this
Oh my this series is gonna be great, I can't wait to see how this comes together. This is making me want to build my own frontier!
Seeing Adam and his team nerding out the project gives me hope about the game. He has that same energy that he had during the expanse series!
Kudos to all on the Tested Team, amazing build. So much enthusiasim
Adam S and Starfield. It just works.
ACG and Starfield… now THAT works!
we all want our money back.
My Favorite Game Ever and Adam Savage's Team Making a Ship for it! Amazing!
I Absolutely Love this - My favorite RUclips creator building a ship from my long awaited (sure to be a favorite) game.
Thank You Adam and crew!
this is unbelievable! to make a hobby "toy"... the engineering and planning, skill, knowledge and fun! this was incredible! thank you!
This looks like so much fun, can't wait!
Really excited for this one! Model building and Bethesda games are my favorite hobbies :)
I really hope they can make those stl files available for us too! I would love to be able to print this and follow along.
Have you seen anything anywhere about the files becoming available. I would certainly purchase them.
Unless Bethesda releases them, I'm betting the STLs they made for this will remain private. Likely something that was covered in the contract they signed.
i agree would absolutely love to recreate this
Just wait fo the game to release and export the files with the usual mod tools.
It get SUCH a cleaner end result!!
this series of build videos is gonna be awesome to watch. I'd love to see more like this with the full Tested team!
It was amazing to all work together again!
Love this series already! The modular design of the ships will be so much fun to mess with in game. Thank you for this!
Starfield is my dream come true sci-fi RPG. I can't believe a game like this is being made. I really hope it's good, from everything i've seen, I don't believe i'm going to be disappointed by Starfield. It's always a huge possibility with games this ambitious. I really love the ships in Starfield, how they look, is the exact sort of sci-fi I am into. The ship built in this video is incredible looking.
Bethesda's Elder Scrolls Online has been in my life for over 3yrs! So when I read that Tested was involved in Starfield, I had to watch this video. Making sure I watch the series! Great job all. 😀
Gotta love modern 3D printing tech! (Can't wait for the game either.) Great work team!
Stunning! I so badly want this kit. Can’t wait for the game to come out. I love the process of making this. This is the stuff I would love to know how to do.
I love the way Adam and Sean communicate. Half a sentence, just a few words and their minds click:D
its amazing to me how the way they put this model together fits so well with the game! the way the modular ship building goes it just works with 3D printing and model building IRL!
I don't think there has ever been a collab I have loved more! My favorite game studio and my favorite team of makers working together is truly a dream come true. I know I'm going to watch all of these videos several times to better understand the thought process from visual to practical!
I was already excited for Starfield and a huge fan of Adam and the Tested team, and this is a perfect combination of them all.
I'd love to see a video from you guys on hollowing out models and prepping for print
Watching this many talented people go HAM on this project is so fun to watch! So many skills being used on display for us to absorb some knowledge.
This is the right type of Marketing for a game. LOVE THISSSSS
The design in Starfield is top-notch. Ships, outfits, interiors. People talk smack but i’m IN.
This is my dream collab. So hyped for this game. It's about time we got a new space RPG.
Long overdue, cant wait
"Lived in, loved on, and just a little bit hurt" This is so poetic. I'm going to be using this :)
Removing supports from my prints is almost as satisfying as removing the masking tape from my paintings
So Glad @AdamSavage Still Has That Passion To Building Spaceship Models !! Keep Doing These Projects @AdamSavageTested !!!! #ThePowerOfTheForce Compels You ... 😎👍
Just incredible!!! Thank you Adam and team!!!
I dont suppose we could get the STL files 😅
Xbox game pass day one 🔥💪💚💚 2:39
I really hope young people watch as the creative process unfolds. You too can take an idea and make something. Awesome presentation!!
Starfield, Adam and the Tested Team, what more could you ask for!! Fantastic!!
This is peak content.
Love seeing Norm in front of the camera!
Adam's joy over tasty tolerances is infectious! Excelsior! :P
I really love watching you create legendary RUclips content. Please continue with this amazing performance.
I spared an hour of my weekend for this. Absolutely brilliant.
I was hoping we would see Adam at least look over some stuff from Starfield so this is a pleasant surprise!
