I went to a con before covid and we played anime dodge ball. There was a Liz cosplayer on our team and she blocked a ball with her shield, everyone kinda looked around and unanimously agreed that it was allowed. 😊👍
story mode is the only solo / offline content you'll be getting. as it was the only mode listed under Offline when bandai released that systems trailer.
There's a free roam if you want to go off and do things without worrying about other people. 19 other people will be running around in the lobby and may try to stick in groups so they might follow you, but there's no moral obligation to stay together as much as in other modes. I don't think there's real bosses there but there's level 90+ enemies and mini bosses that are definitely a seemingly impossible challenge without decent gear. Aside from free roam which is still multiplayer and story, there's no single player content, but you said solo, so I figured I'd talk about free roam.
I'm still debating who I'll play, I think silica but yui is now playable but likely everyone and their mother gonna try to play her and I'm pretty sure i saw kureha as a playable and rain will be aswell. I guess it's good to have multiple mains.

So to summarize from what I've seen Liz is a sort of DPS-support who gets off on being upfront in combat while also having supportive capabilities.
She looks so fun. My top 3 to play are her, The administrator, and Yuna. Trying to find a main in every class.
She a great Buffer/DPS, very fun to play.
I was about to request her too xD

Sadly there won't be much. A set of missions you'll blow through fairly quickly

I bought it on PSN just like anyone else can, I just got it from the Asia region store since it releases there a day earlier.
