Hello, I have recently discovered this type of tea. I have been enjoying it with a small wedge of lemon. Is this alright to do or would you recommend no lemon?
I would just recommend you try it both ways and see which you like better! I personally prefer all of these teas plain but if you like it better one way versus another I cannot argue with that!
This is my favourite tea and I love the smell - it always reminds me of my time in Japan. I find it so strange people keep saying it smells bad XD to each their own I guess!
its a type of Kyusu teapot we use for genmaicza. If you're interested in Kyusu teapots, you can find them here: nioteas.com/collections/japanese-kyusu-teapot
I really can’t stand this tea…I don’t want green tea to taste like burnt Rice Krispies. Thankfully all the other varieties are something I constantly crave, especially a nice high quality sencha.
yes I'm glad to hear you like sencha teas! I personally do not love genmaicha either but I think it can be a tasty tea and it is good for people who are new to tea
That is an interesting teapot that works well for brewing Genmaicha.
Ty sir for a great review.
